Torp CEO, TIME International Waco, Texas based TIME Manufacturing Company (TMC) is expanding its production capacity with 4,600 square metres of additional production facilities. TMC plans on spending $5.8 million to expand its facilities in Waco expected to result in a growth of employment of 121 during the coming four years. The city of Waco and the McLennan County officials recently voted ok to provide TMC with tax abatements and $200,000 in economic development initiatives to support the expansion. TMC currently employs 410 in Waco and produces 3,500-4,000 aerial access platforms a year in the existing 27,800 square metre factory complex of which 25- 35% is for exports to global markets. HDW acquires TIME Benelux Following the acquisition, HDW BeLux is now the new Versalift distributor in Belgium and Luxembourg. Bayernwerk AG received a Versalift VST-5500-MHI (right) from the German Versalift distributor Ruthmann boasting a maximum working height of 19.5 metres and a maximum outreach of 11.7 metres. Antwerp based GF Hoogwerkerverhuur has ordered several aerial access platforms from HDW Belux including a Versalift VTX-240 mounted on a MB Sprinter and a Versalift ETL- 36-135 mounted on a Ford Transit. “The Versalift VTX-240 really caught our attention and we are convinced that the machine’s impressive working range will please our customers. The unit has been delivered six weeks ago and indeed, it has been rented out continuously since then. Customers are delighted about the smoothness and easy operation”, says Frank Hechtermans, owner of GF Hoogwerkerverhuur. 3
