Let there be light
With incredible new designs, conservatories
have never provided better value and space
Summertime in the garden can be
lovely, but there are those days when
it seems as though someone's been
fiddling with the thermostat! A bowl of
cereal and a glass of cold juice in the garden
is certainly not as enjoyable with a chilly
morning breeze blowing past.
The solution is to install a conservatory,
the perfect bridge between the garden
and the house. Not only does it add
extra space to your home, it provides
another living space for the family all
year round.
If you already own a conservatory there
may be heat issues during the extremes
of the good old English weather - too
hot or too cold? Not to worry - there's also
a range of solutions for you too. Tiled roof
systems allow for a new roof to fit over the
original conservatory, both inside and out.
These systems can massively improve the
insulation value of your conservatory too,
sometimes in excess of modern building
regulation standards. Or do you fancy
something exotic? An orangery, a design

more traditional form of conservatory,

home as it can blend in just as much as a

which give the impression that it was an
original part of the property.

roofing options to suit the look of your

value it'll gain also. Each conservatory

while white frames are still widely used,
there are many other options of colour
and form available to you.
The decision you make on the door to
the outside world is fairly important:
for example bi-folding doors can really
make the house and garden become one
whenever required, but still allowing that
separation when you don't. The purpose of
your new room can be wonderfully versatile.
