Deposit Trading Power<br />
When you deposit your week, <strong>RCI</strong> assigns it a trading power,<br />
known as Deposit Trading Power.<br />
Fixed Week<br />
You own a week of timeshare at an <strong>RCI</strong>-affiliated resort that<br />
does not change every year.<br />
MEMBER EDUCATION<br />
Also known as “DTP”, “credit”,<br />
“currency”, “value of your week”<br />
Also known as “home week”, “fixed<br />
ownership”, “timeshare week”<br />
Exchange Trading Power<br />
Every option in the <strong>RCI</strong> exchange system is assigned trading<br />
power, known as Exchange Trading Power.<br />
Floating Week<br />
You own a week of timeshare at an <strong>RCI</strong>-affiliated resort<br />
which is not fixed. You will need to contact <strong>RCI</strong>.<br />
Also known as “ETP”, “exchange value”,<br />
“value of your exchange”<br />
Also known as “floating time”, “variable<br />
week”, “floating deposit”<br />
Combine your Deposit<br />
Combine your deposits or Deposit Credit so that you can<br />
exchange for a holiday that has greater trading power than<br />
your deposited week.<br />
Maintenance fees<br />
You pay maintenance fees direct to the resort to ensure<br />
general upkeep and quality of your resort and it covers<br />
everything from refurbishment of rooms and facilities to the<br />
day-to-day running costs.<br />
Also known as “bundle your weeks”,<br />
“join your weeks”, “mix your weeks”<br />
Also known as “management fees”,<br />
“dues”, “resort fees”<br />
Deposit Credit<br />
If the trading power of your Exchange Holiday is less than<br />
the trading power of the weeks you have deposited, you will<br />
receive a Deposit Credit that can be used (or combined)<br />
towards a future Exchange Holiday.<br />
Resort rating<br />
Each of <strong>RCI</strong>’s affiliated resorts are awarded a quality rating<br />
based on the comment card scores received from <strong>RCI</strong><br />
members. They are known as <strong>RCI</strong> Hospitality, <strong>RCI</strong> Silver<br />
Crown and <strong>RCI</strong> Gold Crown.<br />
