Miss Multiverse Brazil 2014

Professional International model,
beauty queen, skin care specialist and
spokeswoman who resides in
Manhattan, New York. Chrystiane is
of Brazilian decent, born in Vila Velha,
Espirito Santo, Brazil.
A successful model from the age of
14, Chrystiane showed to be a
natural. Her talents allowed her to
travel throughout Brazil, Europe, Asia
and South America. In 2007,
Chrystiane participated in “Beleza
Brazil” one of the country’s top
pageants and placed “Runner-up.”
In 2008, Chrystiane came to the USA
to study at the Aveda Institute to
pursue a career in skin care and to
make her dream of developing a
green cosmetic and makeup line
reality. This dream is in the works and
soon launching in South America.
In 2012, Chrystiane began speaking
in seminars at the Brazilian Consulate
in NYC about Domestic Violence and
Women’s rights.
She has became a devoted
spokeswoman for the cause and is
committed to raising awareness.

Chrystiane, how would you
describe your personality?
I would describe my personality
as being a kind person, bubbly,
very outgoing, social and with a
great sense of humor. I am easy
to talk to and a good listener. I
usually make friends very easily. I
would also say that I am a learner
and always want to be improving
or learning more about things
that interest me.
What are you passionate
about?
I know this is cliche, but I am
seriously passionate about my
family and friends. I love sharing
great moments with the ones
closest to me and create
unforgettable memories. I also
have a passion for fitness,
meditation and Classic Movies
like Cinema Paradiso and Life is
Beautiful. Last but not least, I am
passionate about travel and to
experience different cultures and
meet new people.
Chrystiane’s Hobbies?
Some indoors exercising I most
like nowadays are:SoulCycle,
Pilates, Zumba; Outdoors
exercising: Biking, running, hiking;
At home I enjoy cooking Brazilian
and Italian food; listening to jazz,
80's and 90's, lounge and
reading:fiction and non-fiction,
Fashion (Vogue/Marie Claire) and
health related magazines and Arts

What makes you enjoy life the
most?
Making those around me smile
gives me great pleasure. Also
being surrounded by people that
I love and that have positive
attitude and to be recognized by
my dedication and efforts I put
into my work.
What else you do besides
modeling?
I am a beauty consultant,
wardrobe stylist and sales
associate for a major female
fashion brand.
Tell us one thing about yourself
people might find surprising.
When I say that I don't know how
to drive, a lot of people find it odd.
Why did you start Modeling?
Although I was a very shy teenage
girl and did not find myself pretty,
people would often complement
me as being beautiful and
constantly ask me if I was a model.
Modeling's the perfect
opportunity to improve my self
esteem and to help me overcome
my shyness.
How has modeling shaped
your personality?
It strengthened my self esteem,
widened my cultural views, and
made me the strong and
persistent woman that I am today
because I received so many NO's
throughout the years that I
quickly learned how to improve
my weaknesses and deal with
negative responses. It helped me
improve my styling and beauty

What are your goals for your
modeling? What’s next for you?
After working 14 years as a model, I
decided it was time to work behind
the scenes, finish my degree, and
become a fashion business manager.
I am still modeling, but it is not my
main focus anymore and rather a side
job.
What is your favorite photography
style?
The Artistic is my most favorite
photography style because it is not
solely related to modeling. It en globes
nature, culture, people, and human
emotions.
Which would be the perfect
location for a Photoshoot?
A photo shoot under the aurora
borealis in Iceland.
Which Brand / Designer would you
like to Shoot for?
I'd love to shoot an ad campaign for
Dove because it empowers women
and sends a positive body image
message.

Adriana Irizarry is a world-class rated
model, her beauty goes beyond
words, but her professionalism is

born and raised in Puerto Rico and

Her advice to young face in the

I am originally from Miami and of
Haitian descent. As cliche as it
sounds, I've ALWAYS had a passion
for fashion because I am a former

Carla Coultas grew up enjoying the Kentucky
outdoors. As a teenager she moved to Florida
where she started designing women's
clothing. Her inspiration and dedication
opened new doors for her and brought the
opportunity to start selling her styles in
Gainesville, Florida.
Since then Carla Coultas have been part of
Gainesville Fashion Week and University of
Florida's Pride Awareness Month fashion show
drawing crowds of 800 in attendance.
Annually she puts on her Fashion for Freedom
charity runway show raising money and
awareness to help bring Women and Children
of sexual slavery.
Carla begin modeling as a teenager for her

Devon Delzell is a part-time model (& full-time history
major student) based in the San Francisco. Devon books
projects in San Francisco and Los Angeles Area.
Over the passed two years Devon has been very active
in developing a diverse portfolio. She has been featured
in several national publications (Revolver Magazine,
Giuseppina Magazine, American Art Collector Magazine,
Zele Magazine), Vogue Italia/Photo (3 x's), jewelry and
clothing lookbooks, lifestyle and product packaging, art

Everyone dreams of finding true love and spending the
rest of their life together. For Antonio and I, our journey
together has been as beautiful as one can dream; it is like
a song, a fairy tale, a dream come true.
When we first met, he was slightly older than me but at
19 and 25 we were both just kids. It took us nearly two
decades to finally meet despite growing up within 30
minutes of each other. But when we did meet it was like
fireworks, everything was amazing. We completed each
other, we were perfect. Within a year of meeting Antonio
we were married in a ceremony that epitomized the term
fairy tale. We were ready for our happily ever after
because when it's right, it's right.
Married life didn't slow us down one bit, if anything it
drove us forward. Being entrepreneurs at heart certainly
helped and we started up a business in the real estate
market. We were more on the investment side, finding
run down and tired homes and then giving them the TLC
they desperately needed. We then branched out into
creating custom homes in Birmingham MI, which was an
absolute blast for us.
After the Birmingham project we felt it was time to take
the leap and do real estate sales; however, that meant for
us a number of challenges. We wanted to create a solid
team, lasting partnership and a location that we would
be ready to stay in for a lifetime. After traveling the United
States for nearly two months we settled on beautiful
Tampa, Florida. After moving her I can only say one thing
- I love it!
Our current business venture has
kicked off well. We have seven
members on our team and everyone
is valued well as an employee and
individual. Our plan is to hold
ourselves to the highest standards
and to never put ourselves into a
box. Being client-centric we pride ourselves on having
strong open relationships so that all our clients can share
their goals and work towards the best possible real estate
decisions and outcomes. We are living extraordinary lives

How did you get into photography?
I've always enjoyed creating images, but for the longest time it
was as a computer scientist rather than as a photographer. I
have a graduate degree in Computer Science and my speciality
was computer graphics. I did research in 3-D image synthesis
and virtual reality, meaning that I helped develop techniques
for visualizing imaginary 3-D worlds. To do that you need a
thorough understanding of the physics of light, shadows,
optics, and image perception. Even then, it was the creative
side rather than the technical side that interested me most. So
from there it was a natural transition into photography, because
I was able to apply in real life many of the principles I had already
learned, and had greater freedom to express my creativity.
Biggest photography influences?
I do a lot of beach lifestyle photography, and to me some of the
best images in that field have come from Sports Illustrated and
Victoria's Secret. Everyone knows the models in the photos, but
much of the credit for their success is due to photographers
like Walter Iooss and Russell James. Here in Florida my biggest
influence is Anthony Neste. He lives across the state in Flagler
Beach, and consistently creates beautiful images. I love the sexy,
vibrant look of his photography and his wonderful use of light.
Perfect photoshoot location, scene?
As much as I love Florida beaches, my ideal location would be
somewhere with mountains and waterfalls in addition to
stunning beaches. Somewhere like Hawaii would be ideal. I've
been there many times but have never done a photoshoot
there. I also lived in Australia for a while and would love to go
there again with camera in hand.
Please share a little about your experience, projects, works
done, etc…
I frequently shoot with agency models who need photos for
their portfolios. Agencies are generally looking for natural
looking photos, because the client needs to see what they are
getting if they hire a model. I would say I work very hard to
make my photos look as if I didn't work hard to create them! I
typically scout locations in advance, and plan the best angles
and individual locations based on the light that will be available
during the photoshoot. But when it comes time to shoot and
everything is in place, then I just try to have the model act
naturally and I capture lifestyle moments.

Do you have a specific photography style you like the most?
I still shoot a little bit of everything: beach, urban, studio, day, night, etc., but as
mentioned above my favorite is outdoor lifestyle. I used to shoot a lot of "strobist"
style images, using flashes on almost all of my shots. I like the distinctive look
you can get by using flashes to balance the lighting on your model with the
ambient light. But more and more I have been shooting natural light whenever
possible, or getting by with just a touch of flash so that it's not even possible to
tell that artificial light was used.
Tell us about your short term and long term goals as a photographer:
My short and long term goals are the same: to be creative, and to have fun. Part
of being creative for me is learning new techniques and experimenting with
different styles. I'm currently trying to develop my skills in fashion and editorial
photography, and my inspiration for that is photographers such as Amanda Diaz
and Emily Soto. For the long term, I plan to continue to learn and be inspired by
other photographers, and hope to one day reach a point where I can be an
inspiration to others.

Samantha Hensley has extensive print and promotional
modeling experience. She has worked with a wide variety of
companies, including Bealls, HSN, and TeenyB.
She is now concentrating on her medical career and is
employed full-time as a nurse in a pediatric unit. Samantha
