Tristram Hunt MP<br />

Tristram Hunt is <strong>the</strong> Labour Member of Parliament<br />

for Stoke-on-Trent Central <strong>and</strong> Senior Lecturer <strong>in</strong><br />

History at Queen Mary, University of London. S<strong>in</strong>ce<br />

enter<strong>in</strong>g Parliament <strong>in</strong> 2010, Tristram has focused<br />

on educational excellence; <strong>the</strong> regeneration needs<br />

of Stoke-on-Trent; <strong>the</strong> ceramics <strong>in</strong>dustry <strong>and</strong> energy<br />

<strong>in</strong>tensive sector. He is a Trustee of <strong>the</strong> History of<br />

Parliament Trust <strong>and</strong> fellow of <strong>the</strong> Royal Historical<br />

Society. From October 2013 until September 2015,<br />

Tristram served as Labour’s Shadow Education<br />

Secretary, <strong>and</strong> he is currently Chair of <strong>the</strong> PLP<br />

Committee on Communities <strong>and</strong> Local<br />

Government.<br />

Stoke-on-Trent MP <strong>and</strong> historian Tristram Hunt will<br />

be draw<strong>in</strong>g on his experience of battl<strong>in</strong>g to save<br />

<strong>the</strong> Wedgwood Collection <strong>and</strong> Staffordshire Hoard,<br />

promot<strong>in</strong>g heritage-led regeneration <strong>in</strong> The Potteries<br />

<strong>and</strong> reviv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> ceramics <strong>in</strong>dustry, to expla<strong>in</strong> how <strong>the</strong><br />

West Midl<strong>and</strong>s can explore <strong>and</strong> exploit its <strong>in</strong>dustrial<br />

heritage for economic growth, civic pride <strong>and</strong><br />

regional identity.<br />

Boris Pevzner<br />

Founder <strong>and</strong> CEO of Collectrium<br />

Boris is a serial entrepreneur, builder of enterprise<br />

software companies, <strong>and</strong> an avid art lover. In 2009<br />

he founded Collectrium, <strong>the</strong> lead<strong>in</strong>g collection<br />

management platform for high-value f<strong>in</strong>e art <strong>and</strong><br />

collectibles. The company was acquired by Christie’s<br />

<strong>in</strong> 2015 <strong>and</strong> cont<strong>in</strong>ues to operate <strong>in</strong>dependently,<br />

ensur<strong>in</strong>g client <strong>and</strong> data privacy. Collectrium was<br />

designed specifically for collectors, by a technology<br />

expert. Known for <strong>in</strong>novation, Collectrium has earned<br />

<strong>the</strong> trust of thous<strong>and</strong>s of clients around <strong>the</strong> world.<br />

Prior to Collectrium, Boris founded Centrata,<br />

a pioneer <strong>in</strong> cloud comput<strong>in</strong>g for Fortune 500 data<br />

centers. Additionally, Boris co-founded xfire which<br />

was later acquired by Viacom. Boris holds<br />

undergraduate <strong>and</strong> graduate degrees <strong>in</strong> Electrical<br />

Eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> Computer Science from MIT.<br />

In addition to his art obsession, Boris is a physics<br />

enthusiast, opera lover, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> founder of The<br />

New Bohemians, an <strong>in</strong>ternational circle of friends<br />

that celebrates <strong>the</strong> marriage of <strong>in</strong>tellect <strong>and</strong> fun.<br />

He is also a fa<strong>the</strong>r to a precocious toddler, whose<br />

ability to make sense of his quadril<strong>in</strong>gual family<br />

fasc<strong>in</strong>ates his proud papa.<br />
