After devoting almost two decades to revisiting and reviving Indian<br />
textiles, Vaishali Shadangule draws inspiration from her ability to<br />
observe and listen, leaving her designs to speak for them.<br />
Now a fashion veteran, Vaishali took a giant step when she moved from<br />
her hometown of Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh, India, a place where<br />
one often comes across traditional crafts in one’s daily routine and<br />
hence the adaptation was natural.<br />
Vaishali brews a heady concoction where a glamorous, modern<br />
silhouette is stirred with honest loom fabric and sprinkled with<br />
the fragrance of soil from distant Indian villages. Her creations<br />
are wearable souvenirs amassed from her<br />
many pursuits of Indian weave.
