EVIDENT<br />
The United Nations have determined a classification system for containers that are used to<br />
transport any solid, liquid or gas that is classed as dangerous goods. Packaging must meet or<br />
exceed minimum performance standards. When a container is certified, it’s assigned a unique<br />
code and allowed to use the UN symbol. The tests are rigorous and include:<br />
Tension • Drop testing • Resistance to bending • Weight • Accelerated ageing •<br />
UKAS blue extreme temperature performance • Abrasion • Puncture and impact •<br />
Toxic elements identification • Crush testing • Permeability<br />
The UN symbol means that the container has been tested at an approved testing station and<br />
has passed all the tests required by United Nations.<br />
Tamper Evident <strong>Bottles</strong><br />
Tamper-evident caps have a plastic ring that is attached below the screw<br />
cap on the bottles. When unscrewing the cap, the ring breaks and the<br />
ring can separate from the cap so it will no longer be tamper evident.<br />
A broken seal between the ring and the cap<br />
indicates the cap has been opened.<br />

A popular and waterproof alternative to vinyl labels. They<br />
offer the strengths of a synthetic material. Suitable for a<br />

TRANSPARENT LABELS<br />
Vinyl material. Only the coloured areas of artwork are<br />

Please Note: There is a one-off charge for setting up the design of £30+VAT – payable before any work is<br />
undertaken by us. This includes initial design/setup and one revision. This doesn’t include any additional<br />
design such as logo design, branding design etc. There is a charge of £15+VAT to output existing artwork,<br />
however if revisions are required this work will be subject to an additional cost.<br />
We will send a proof when the initial design has been done. When the proof is approved the order for<br />
the labels can be made and payment for them is requested upon ordering. The cost will include VAT and<br />
delivery. If all this is satisfactory we will send an invoice for the design work and proceed from there. Once<br />

Fluorination Treatment of <strong>Plastic</strong>s<br />
Many strong solvents and aggressive chemicals cannot be stored in plastic due to permeation,<br />
evaporation, softening and attack. This is where the fluorination process is a must. It has long been<br />
accepted that a fluorination barrier to polyethylene and other polymeric materials renders them<br />
resistant to attack and resulting permeation by a range of aggressive chemicals.<br />

How Fluoro-Seal is Performed<br />
Items to be treated are sealed in a vacuum autoclave and exposed to measured amounts of<br />
elemental fluorine gas under tightly controlled conditions. Following treatment, the autoclaves<br />
are evacuated to high vacuum and purged with filtered fresh air to ensure the removal of all<br />
reaction residue.<br />
Fluoro-Seal is Permanent<br />
The fluorinated layer is not a coating or lacquer; it is a chemical conversion of the existing<br />
surface and as such is atomically bonded to the parent plastic. The treatment is permanent<br />
and the layer is not readily removable nor does it become unbound with time.<br />
