Exports
• In 2015, exports of Unprocessed primary products decreased 12.9 per cent to $133.6 billion and Processed
primary products increased 1.8 per cent to $50.8 billion. Exports of Manufactures rose 3.6 per cent to
$44.3 billion, with Simply transformed manufactures (STM) exports rising 2.7 per cent to $14.5 billion and
Elaborately transformed manufactures (ETM) exports rising 4.0 per cent to $29.8 billion. Other goods (mainly
Gold and confidential trade items) exports increased 5.6 per cent to $21.0 billion.

Imports
• In 2015, imports of Unprocessed primary products fell 43.2 per cent to $13.4 billion and Processed primary
products increased 3.4 per cent to $36.3 billion. Imports of Manufactures rose 12.6 per cent to $205.4 billion,
with STM imports rising 6.8 per cent to $16.0 billion and ETM imports rising 13.1 per cent to $189.4 billion.
Other goods (mainly Gold and Confidential items of trade) increased 4.9 per cent to $11.8 billion.
