In essence folks, we cannot be <strong>the</strong> change we wish to see until we<br />
wake up and realize that we are all truly ONE — that <strong>the</strong> homeless person<br />
on <strong>the</strong> street corner is not a “bum”; that <strong>the</strong> lover who lies to us is not a<br />
“jerk”; that our rich boss is not “greedy”. These are all PEOPLE — people<br />
who are in many ways just like you and me. They long to be liked, <strong>the</strong>y long<br />
to be Loved, <strong>the</strong>y long to be respected … and <strong>the</strong>y long for someone to<br />
reach out to <strong>the</strong>m in Kindness.<br />
I know, our law-makers want us to “behave” and not cause too much<br />
trouble. I know, our society wants us to keep on judging and criticizing and<br />
condemning our enemies — to keep on walling ourselves off <strong>from</strong> <strong>the</strong> life of<br />
Compassion that would indeed prove to be our source of true Freedom.<br />
Well, I say it’s time to BREAK FREE of all that …<br />
… and smiling at strangers is a great place to start .. ;)<br />
