Summer Adventure at Wild Bed & Breakfast in Arvidsjaur.

We feature three comfortable double rooms for our guests, decorated in a typical Swedish style. The fully furnished rooms all include a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. We will happily arrange a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to and from Arvidsjaur on the day of your arrival/departure. Our Bed & Breakfast is located at the foot of the Vittjåkk-Akkanålke nature ­reserve, which you are welcome to explore on your own. The cozy Stuga acts as a common room, featuring a seating area with a fireplace as well as a small library. Complete with a view onto the mountains and lakes of Lapland, it’s the perfect place to let your spirits flow. You can rent canoes, packrafts and bicycles on site. You can also book different activities such as guided huskytrekking, packrafting and hiking tours, or introductory courses into outdoor cooking and wood carving.

Comb<strong>in</strong>ed hik<strong>in</strong>g and paddl<strong>in</strong>g tours<br />

The packraft. A packraft is an <strong>in</strong>fl<strong>at</strong>able paddlebo<strong>at</strong> th<strong>at</strong><br />

is easily transportable. It weighs about 3 kg when packed<br />

up, and is about the size of a rolled up sleep<strong>in</strong>g bag. When<br />

<strong>in</strong>fl<strong>at</strong>ed, there is enough room to sit comfortably and store<br />

your backpack and bicycle. The packraft, despite its light<br />

weight, is robust enough to withstand occasional rapid<br />

w<strong>at</strong>ers.<br />

At the end of your paddl<strong>in</strong>g tour, you can defl<strong>at</strong>e the packraft,<br />

pack it together and stow it <strong>in</strong> your backpack or on<br />

your bike. You can now reach your next dest<strong>in</strong><strong>at</strong>ion with<br />

ease and comfort. Packraft<strong>in</strong>g is suitable for experienced<br />

hikers and paddlers as well as for beg<strong>in</strong>ners.<br />

There are many advantages to the packraft. Potential obstacles<br />

and rapid rivers can be easily avoided, so it’s possible<br />

to go paddl<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> all types of w<strong>at</strong>ers. Hik<strong>in</strong>g, paddl<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

bik<strong>in</strong>g are therefore easily comb<strong>in</strong>ed.<br />

to embark on new adventures with us, either <strong>in</strong> guided<br />
