years, passed away on June<br />
22. Eklund was born in Milwaukee<br />
on Feb. 17, 1934.<br />
She was the wife of the late<br />

mother of Steven Eklund,<br />
Susan (Jonathan) Dick,<br />
Sharon (Corky) Peterson,<br />
Karen (Stephen) Fennell,<br />
Robin (Bradly) Werner,<br />
Mia (Michael) Waligora.<br />
She was the grandmother<br />
of Shauna (Nathan) Miekly,<br />
Forest Dick, Devon (Marty)<br />
Jeffers, Tara (Paul) Stevens,<br />
Thomas, Cole, and Alex<br />
Werner, Beau, Brody, Brynn<br />
Waligoral, Great grandmother<br />
of Jacob, Parker,<br />
Charlotte, Logan, Mae,<br />
and he late Pehr Swenson.<br />
Daughter of the late Edward<br />
and Lydia Kazmar. Sister of<br />
the late James and Winifred<br />
Lutsey. Diane was an avid<br />
bridge player, successful<br />

Café is a safe space to connect<br />
with old friends and<br />

Patricia O’Connor Richard,<br />
92, of Lake Forest, died<br />
June 25. Patricia was born<br />
Aug. 16, 1923, in Indianapolis<br />
to John and Corea<br />
(Taylor) O’Connor. Richard<br />
enjoyed playing bridge,<br />
reading, and spending time<br />
with family and friends. She<br />
is survived by her children,<br />
Jane (Lee) Tougas, Kathryn<br />
(Keith deceased) Morgan,<br />
William Albert (Babs) Richard,<br />
Jr. and Susan Richard<br />
(Brien) Gefvert; grandchildren<br />
Richard (Susan) Grant,<br />
Carter (Christina) Pfeifer-<br />
Mattig, Joel (Noelle) Morgan,<br />
Caroline Rogers, and<br />
Alice (Lat) Purser; great<br />
grandchild Henry Morgan.<br />
She was preceded in death<br />
by her parents and husband<br />
William Albert Richard,<br />
Sr. A private family burial<br />
of cremated remains will<br />
take place at a later time.<br />

Marilyn Waud<br />
Marilyn Miller Waud, 80,<br />
of Lake Forest, passed away<br />
peacefully with her family<br />
by her side on June 10. She<br />
was the daughter of the late<br />
Edward and Katherine Miller<br />
of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.<br />
She was the sister of Patricia<br />
Gradek and the late Edward<br />
Miller. A resident of Lake<br />
Forest since 1970, Waud<br />
was born March 23, 1936,<br />
in Indianapolis. She had an<br />
amazing sparkle and love<br />
that led to countless wonderful<br />
relationships. She will be<br />
missed by all of her family<br />
and many friends. Waud is<br />
survived by her husband,<br />
Ernest P. Waud, III, sons<br />
George (Ann), William<br />
(Heather), Reed (Emily)<br />
and Ward (Rachelle) Lyon.<br />
Grandmother of Baret,<br />
Thaddeus, William, Catherine,<br />
Edward, Elizabeth,<br />
Tabitha, David, and Paige<br />
Lyon. She was preceded in<br />
death by her first husband,<br />
William S. Lyon. Funeral<br />

of St. Mary, Lake Forest. In<br />
