- There were 224 uniform members and 77 civilian<br />
members enrolled in 749 continuing education<br />
courses.<br />
- There were approximately 147,530 training hours.<br />
- There were 97 members who attended Region of<br />
Peel courses. There were 239 external courses and<br />
conferences attended.<br />
- Over 40% of members were provided professional<br />
development opportunities within Peel Regional<br />
Police:<br />
- 1,177 members were involved in temporary acting<br />
opportunities, totaling approximately 317,279<br />
hours.<br />
- 33 members completed an indefinite acting role and<br />
32 members were on indefinite acting assignment.<br />
- Participation on external policing inter-agency<br />
committees increased 80%, from 30 to 54<br />
memberships in <strong>2015</strong>.<br />
- Completed the following:<br />
- The purchase of a new Peel Regional Police Facility<br />
(7150 Mississauga Road).<br />
- Davis Court House renovations.<br />
- Funding approval for the renovation and expansion<br />
of 11 Division was received from Regional Council.<br />
- Expansion of services and grand re-opening of the<br />
Square One Community Station.<br />
- The 10-year Capital Plan totaling $282,000,000 was<br />
developed and approved by the Peel Police Services<br />
Board and approved by Regional Council.<br />
- Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Business Intelligence<br />
Tools were implemented to provide more robust<br />
performance metrics on calls for service, units<br />
dispatched etc.<br />
- A new Prisoner Management Application was<br />
introduced to automate the booking, monitoring and<br />
management of prisoners at divisions and within<br />
court facilities.<br />
- Installed software-based phones on the mobile<br />
computers in every uniform patrol vehicle.<br />
