Britain decides: Goodbye EU<br />
Withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union, often<br />
shortened to Brexit.Brexit sounds like a name made up for an anime<br />
character but is pretty serious case now that the people (the majority<br />
of them) have voted for brexit and not against it.It has some good and<br />
bad effects well currently bad effects.Just the announcement of the<br />
results has caused an economic meltdown in most of the parts of the<br />
world. For ex. the pound went 31 year low and now after a day or so it<br />
drops another 10% and is expected to fall as low as 1.28 USD . This is<br />
bad because this could lead to<br />
worldwide economic depression. Europe was already in<br />
quite a crisis due to the poor economic condition in<br />
Greece. In fact this is not only affecting the European<br />
market but is affecting many other markets worldwide.<br />
In just a DAY Sensex fell down by a thousand points. The<br />
current British PM David Cameroon had voted against<br />
leaving Europe. However the unity of the people was<br />
outstanding and even though he campaigned relentlessly<br />
through out the pre-voting period. Many business<br />
tycoons like Richard Branson voted against the<br />
separation.However the people hated the idea.<br />
Due to this reason PM David Cameroon has<br />
resigned office. He will leave office in the<br />
next 3 months. The changes in UK are<br />
expected to take place in the next one year.
