Summer Reading Challenge<br />

Sign up for the Big Friendly Read (BFR)<br />

this summer and celebrate 100 years of the<br />

world’s favourite storyteller Roald Dahl.<br />

Big kids or small, come one and all, and<br />

you can reap some gloriumptious treats<br />

and squiffling surprises on your summer<br />

adventure, reading your way through our<br />

humungus, fantastical collection of BFR<br />

books.<br />

In the words of Roald Dahl – “A little<br />

nonsense now and then is cherished<br />

by the wisest men.”<br />

You can register at your local library from<br />

Saturday 25 June 2016 and collect your BFR<br />

membership wallet. Collect your limited<br />

edition Quentin Blake collectors cards every<br />

time you read a book (there are six to collect.)<br />

Read two books and collect your Mischievous<br />

Doorhanger and four books to collect a Piggy<br />

Bank. Complete the challenge by reading<br />

six books and collect your BFR Rainbow<br />

Spectrum Glasses, BFR Certificate and<br />

Magnificent Medal.<br />

Booking and paying for courses and events<br />

There’s no need to ‘register’ or ‘log-on’, simply<br />

proceed and book as a non-member. Visit<br />

Refunds<br />

If a class is cancelled due to insufficient<br />

demand, you will receive a full refund. If you<br />

decide to withdraw from a class please tell<br />

us in writing as soon as possible but no later<br />

than Wednesday 24 June. If we are able to<br />

re-allocate your place to someone on the<br />

reserve list and these conditions are met, a<br />

refund of the course fee, less an administration<br />

fee of £6 will be made.<br />

Electron debit or credit cards. Please have<br />

your card ready when you call to book.<br />
