There were similar results for possession of condoms: 47.7% (106/222) of respondents<br />
who had been interrogated by the police (in the past year) always carried condoms in the<br />
past month, a rate clearly lower than for those who carried condoms but had not been<br />
interrogated by the police (75.9%, 224/295). Again, this discrepancy was most evident<br />
among female sex workers. Only 35.2% (56/159) of female sex workers who had been<br />
interrogated always carried condoms, while 59% (85/144) of female sex workers who had<br />
not have such experience always carried condoms.<br />
