Wall-Mounted Keypads
Crestron’s keypads are custom engraveable
wall-mounted user interfaces that can be part of a
Crestron Home control and automation system.
Each of the keypads feature large oversized buttons
that provide positive feedback. These wall-mounted
keypads are available in one, two or three gang
configurations and are mounted in standard
electrical junction boxes.
The keypads allow the user to control individual
lights or groups of lights to create “lighting scenes”
for particular activities as well as to control audio,
video, security, climate and more. In addition, they
can be programmed to offer the user the ability to
monitor the status of the lights in any area within
the home.
The number used in the model description corresponds
to the number of buttons on the keypad.
For example, CNX-B6 is a 6-button keypad and a
CNX-B12 is a 12-button keypad.The keypads are
available in standard black, white and almond
colors. Designer metal finishes are also available as
a faceplate option. Additionally, the buttons on the
keypads can be custom engraved.
All buttons on the keypad are functionally identical
and have associated LEDs that serve as user feedback
indicators. The illumination level of each LED
is independently addressable and is programmable
using SIMPL Windows. The LEDs can be programmed
to dim during the night and return back
to full intensity during the day.
Each keypad also contains a temperature sensor
that reports back to the Crestron Control System.
These sensors can be used to monitor the temperature
in the room and send feedback to the HVAC
system. An internal audio speaker can also provide
audio feedback to the user via .WAV sound files.
Crestron’s wall-mounted keypads are part of the
complete line of Crestron Home fully integrated
control and automation solutions. In addition to
the keypads, Crestron Home features professional
in-wall, tabletop and wireless touchpanels, audio
amplifiers, tuners and switchers, plus easy-to-use
software templates for system design and programming.
With Crestron Home, technology is practical
and easy to use.
