Many thanks to all <strong>of</strong> you for your partnership and<br />
support throughout the past <strong>35</strong> years <strong>of</strong> Jesuit Refugee<br />
Service. More than 180 friends joined us on December<br />
1, 2015, at the University Club in New York to commemorate<br />
our <strong>35</strong> years <strong>of</strong> service to refugees and the displaced.<br />
Very Rev. Timothy Kesicki S.J., President <strong>of</strong> the Jesuit<br />
Conference <strong>of</strong> the United States and Canada, served as<br />
the host for the evening, and Richard Kelly, Chairman <strong>of</strong><br />
the JRS/USA Board <strong>of</strong> Directors, spoke about the history<br />
<strong>of</strong> Jesuit Refugee Service.<br />
Although they each work on different continents, T. Alexander<br />
Aleinik<strong>of</strong>f, Dr. Katrine Camilleri and Sr. Denise Coghlan<br />
are united by their dedication to helping the most vulnerable<br />
people. JRS/USA recognized these three individuals at<br />
our commemoration dinner, and applauds their work.<br />
JRS Accompany Award<br />
Sr. Denise Coghlan, RSM, is one <strong>of</strong> the founding<br />
members and current director <strong>of</strong> JRS Cambodia.<br />
JRS Service Award<br />
Dr. Katrine Camilleri is a lawyer and Director <strong>of</strong><br />
Jesuit Refugee Service Malta.<br />
JRS Advocate Award<br />
Mr. T. Alexander Aleinik<strong>of</strong>f is a leading scholar in<br />
immigration and refugee law, and is currently on<br />
assignment <strong>with</strong> the U.N. Secretariat in New York.<br />
