Sat. 3rd and Sun. 5th September <strong>2016</strong>.<br />

Please note that the following conditions must be strictly adhered to:<br />
1. Artwork must be handed in from 10h00 to 14h00 (2pm) on Thursday 1st September <strong>2016</strong> at the George<br />
Hotel.<br />
2. Payment of R15.00 per item displayed and a once off entrance fee of R70.00 is payable when handing in<br />
artwork (this entitles the artist entrance to the official opening). Due to limited space, an area of 2.0 square<br />
meters is allocated per exhibitor. (This is subject to the number of paintings handed in).<br />
3. PAINTINGS MUST BE READY FOR HANGING WITH SECURE STRING OR CORD (NO PRESTIK<br />
PLEASE). Sculptors must supply their own stands. Unframed paintings and photos with no means<br />
of hanging may be set up in the Minor Hall with the children’s art. These must be hung by the<br />
exhibitor in the designated area. (Prestik is allowed in this designated area) The Organizers cannot<br />
be held responsible if the art piece falls off the wall due to insecure framing/string/cord.<br />
4. Everyone is welcome to exhibit any type of creative art <strong>for</strong>m.<br />
5. Any artwork sold MAY ONLY BE REMOVED at the close of the Exhibition on Sunday 4th September<br />
at 15h00 (3pm).<br />
6. All the organizers and the George Hotel, their management, their owners or staff, accept no<br />
responsibility <strong>for</strong> any liability of submitted items. Please make your own arrangements <strong>for</strong> the<br />
insurance of your items.<br />
7. A commission fee of 10% will be taken off the price marked on the items that are sold. This money will be<br />
donated to the current charity.<br />
8. The organizers reserve the right to reject any works unsuitable <strong>for</strong> exhibiting. (Please make sure your frames<br />
and hooks are secure!)<br />
9. On Sunday 4th September, ALL items must be removed from the George Hotel Premises between<br />
15h00 (3pm) and 16h00 (4pm). We will not be held responsible after that time. If someone else is to collect<br />
your art please let Elsabe (Cell 082 779 6756), or the official on duty know who it is. We must also have<br />
their contact numbers please.<br />
10. Please make sure that the following in<strong>for</strong>mation is recorded on the back of all items: NAME,<br />
ADDRESS, TEL/CELL, EMAIL, TITLE AND PRICE.<br />

Tickets <strong>for</strong> the official opening on FRIDAY 2nd September at 18:30 must be purchased be<strong>for</strong>ehand. (Exhibiting<br />
artists do not need tickets.) Tickets can be bought from the above organizers.

HELPERS TO SET UP VENUE<br />
Please indicate whether you are able to help with either the setting up of the art and the taking down on Sunday<br />
or with a 2 hourly roster manning the event.<br />

Once again we will be hosting the Junior Exhibition. Please encourage the youngsters to exhibit their<br />
works of art. This does not apply to schools only. All children are welcome! They pay R5 per exhibit.<br />
(Children do not complete an entry <strong>for</strong>m. They need to put their name and age on the front of the picture.<br />
Please do not let it obscure the picture). This does not entitle them to the Cocktail Party on the Friday<br />

be original and not coloring pictures. No larger than A4 or A3 in size. The themes this year are Pets,<br />
