As we launch our 2014 catalogue and celebrate our 8th year of 

HEALTHWEALTH INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (HWIC), it is my pleasure 

to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you for your tireless efforts and 

invaluable support in helping us revolutionize our industry by changing 

many lives the healthier way, every day. 

Amidst the highly competitive multi-level marketing 

(MLM) industry, EIGHT YEARS is an achievement we 

can all be proud of. It means that we have firmly 

established ourselves in a cutthroat industry; an 

industry where the companies with weak foundation 

usually fall out of business in their first two years 

of operation. 

2013 has been a trying year for all of us and yet a very meaningful one 

in so many ways. There were many happy and memorable memories, 

like the continuous streaming of personal health and wealth testimonies 

of our product users and dealers; the company-initiated activities and 

events i.e. the 7th Anniversary celebration; the Mega-Sizzles; the monthly 

Barley-hans; the Dream Makers; the Product Fests; the Octo-Barley Fest; 

the Medical and Dental clinics; the various Leadership and Team Building 

training activities, workshops and fora for key leaders and official company 

speakers; and the successful launching of our new product, the “Fruit 

Punch” with Real Chia Seeds and Green Barley. These successful activities 

and events were indeed God’s graces, despite the challenges from our 

detractors and external market forces. 

Our resiliency, perseverance, optimism, and credo kept us focused and 

determined in overcoming all of those challenges. As Napoleon Hill once 

said, “Every adversity, every failure, and every heartache, carries with it the 

seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.”

The Mayans and Incans revered the tiny, but 

nutrient-dense, chia seed as a staple food

In 2005, band majorette Lynlei was left with no choice but to 

momentarily stop schooling as a college sophomore because 

she could no longer bear the humiliation, self-pity and growing 

insecurities brought by a progressing skin disease which started 

to come out a year earlier. Despite consulting several doctors 

including an albularyo, her condition worsened, seemingly as a 

result of the creams and ointments prescribed to her. Her skin

When Edith Traballo fetched her British 

friend Eric from the NAIA Terminal in 

January 2013, she was a bit disheartened

Morning 

The ordeal of Julius with insomnia began more than 20 

years ago when he was still in high school. Being awake 

for 48 straight hours was just his normal state. So as years 

passed, he took advantage of this peculiar condition,

I reached a point na naging “fragile” ang

In April 2012, a mass of skin 

characteristic of an overgrown wart 

formed on the nose of ten-year old 

Dimple. After submitting to a round 

of laboratory tests, it was found that she 

was stricken by a certain type of a skin 

cancer and had to undergo six cycles of 

chemotherapy immediately to address the 

growing mass which was then the size of a 

diced hopia. 

However, just after the first cycle in July, 

Dimple vomited and developed Sepsis. 

Her chemotherapy session stopped 

and resumed October but was again 

discontinued after two months because of 

the family’s financial difficulties. 

Meanwhile, as soon as the school opened 

that June, the school principal of where 

Dimple was enrolled, gave four bottles of 

Green Barley upon learning of Dimple’s 

condition. The gesture served as an initial 

step towards a greater endeavour later

Ruben was convinced to try the business after his wife 

was benefited by Green Barley. According to Ruben, 

his wife had two cysts as big as “pandesals” on her left 

breast since 2000. Despite several food and herbal 

supplements recommended to her, nothing worked. But when his 

wife took two Green Barley bottles in just a span of one week, the 

cysts softened and gradually disappeared. 

Even as a tricycle driver for nine years in Rosario, Cavite, Ruben

doing business. The mere thought of it is a big turn-off for him, having 

heard stories of how some felt “robbed” with the way other companies 

conducted their marketing strategies. But when he experienced the

At Health Wealth, I know that having 

a P50M savings in the bank is never 

impossible. I also hope to get another 

car and travel abroad. 

I am grateful to friends who introduced 

Green Barley to my family in 2009. The 

product was so essential towards the 

well-being of my family that in 2011, 

my husband and I came to a decision to 

make Health Wealth a full-time business. 

There was a time when the hospital 

served as second home to us because my 

husband’s asthma attacks were getting 

severe. I recall a time when we had 

to make him drink Green Barley just to 

get us enough time to bring him to the 

hospital. Seeing how effective Green 

Barley was, I knew there is more to gain, 

like getting rebates from simply using the 

product! 

When I received my first 

check of P450, I said to 

myself, “totoo pala.”

respect of business partners was quite 

a breeze. They themselves shared the 

health benefits they experienced from 

drinking the Green Barley. 

Health Wealth is a very solid company. 

The business plan offered to its dealers 

is realistic. Health Wealth values dual 

partnership and this is manifested in 

their vision to provide good nutrition 

and livelihood to its customers and

taong may mga sakit at iba pang health 

concerns. 

My dream for our family came true: a 

brand new Honda City 2011, an LCD 

projector for my daughter’s use in school, 

sufficient tuition fee to sustain my 

daughter’s College education in Culinary 

Arts at the Lyceum of the Philippines. 

Because of Green Barley, we were able to 

have our house renovated. It afforded us a 

grand vacation at Caramoan Island in Bicol. 

There were obstacles along the way 

when we started the Green Barley 

business. We encountered people 

who, just to maintain politeness, would 

accommodate our visit but were not 

really listening to what we are saying. 

Para akong nakikipag-usap sa hangin. 

Then there were those who did not pay 

for the products they got. Sasabihin hindi 

effective pero naubos na yung Green 

Barley. Ayaw lang talagang magbayad. 

But along the way, we bumped into the 

right people. Never tire sharing the 

product. Just keep on going!

Cris has been a security guard for 18 years when he opted to 

resign and open a small bakery in 1998. A few years before 

that Lorna tried her luck with a sari-sari store after securing a 

loan from SSS. However, the profit yield from the venture was 

hardly enough to meet the family’s daily needs. 

In 2007, worried with the increasing family expenses, the couple were 

easily talked into joining direct-selling companies one after the other. 

The results were not exactly what they were hoping for. 

When a proposition came to be part of the Health Wealth dealership, 

the couple was on a deadlock. While Cris was enthusiastic and very 

confident, Lorna, on the other hand was very firm about her misgivings 

on the business. However, they resolved to compromise. They 

borrowed from Cris’ sibling in Israel to be able to start up. 

Looking back, Lorna attributes their success to the dedication and hard 

work to the business. In a matter of three years, they were able to pay 

their long-standing debts, realize their dreams and are continuing to 

move forward. After completing a major house renovation last year, Cris 

and Lorna are doubling efforts to secure residential properties for each 

of their children this time. 

Their daughters have also joined the Green Barley business.

Security Guard / Housewife 

Cres was reluctant when a cousin came to him 

in 2008, convincing him to register with the 

Health Wealth business. At that time, he was 

still recovering from consecutive disappointing 

ventures with three other networking brands. He knew 

prudence is needed so he does not fall into the same 

trap this time. 

But the cousin was persistent. No doubt the product 

also made an impression on Cres. The following year, he 

resolved to try the business, but held on to his daytime 

job as a gasoline boy in case things do not turn out as he 

expects. (Cres’ employer had taken notice of his work 

performance and has just promoted him crew supervisor 

that time.) 

Over in time, Cres’ patience in doing the business in 

his free time never went to waste. The repeat orders 

coming from far provinces were overwhelming. He knew 

the product was indeed effective. He knew he could 

entrust his family’s future to the business. 

In March 2011, despite a standing offer from his 

employer to manage another newly-opened gasoline 

station, Cres gave up his job to devote his attention to 

the Health Wealth business.

ang tungkol sa produktong Green Barley. 

Nang sinubukan namin i-share sa mga 

kaibigan namin ang dulot na kabutihan 

ng Green Barley sa kalusugan, sa loob 

lamang ng isang linggo ay nakita namin 

na marami kaming matutulungang may 

karamdaman sa pamamagitan ng Health 

Wealth business. 

Na-inspire kami sa Health Wealth business 

dahil ang pangunahing adhikain ng 

company ay ang makatulong muna sa 

may mga karamdaman bago isipin ang 

kumita. At dahil maganda ang naging 

takbo ng aming business sa Health Wealth, 

nag-decide na din kaming mag-full time 

noong January 2011 para unti-unti na 

ring mabayaran ang aming mga utang at 

makaraos sa kahirapan. 

Una sa aming mga naipundar mula sa 

Health Wealth business ay laptop with 

projector at isang touch screen na lutuan. 

Pagkaraan ng tatlong buwan ay nakabili 

kami ng Isuzu Crosswind na nabayaran 

namin in-full sa loob ng dalawang taon. 

Nakapagpa-renovate din kami ng aming 

bahay at may savings na kami. May 

nabili rin kaming bangkang de motor na 

pinangalanan naming “Barley”. At higit sa 

lahat, napag-aral namin sa kolehiyo ang 

dalawang anak namin.

Green Barley. Huwag pagdudahan ang 

produkto at ang negosyo. 

A cousin invited me to join the Health 

Wealth business ngunit hindi ako eager 

kasi napaso na ako sa dati kong sinalihan. 

Alangan pa ako noong una kasi kahit 

maganda ang product, hindi ko alam 

paano ko iyon ibebenta. Pero sinunod 

ko ang payo ng pinsan ko na “huwag ka 

magbenta, just share the product”, and 

everything just fell into place. 

Bago ako naging part of Health Wealth, 

may tatlong “networking” company akong 

pinasok pero kahit gaano ako ka-seryoso, 

nabalewala lamang ito kasi unstable ang 

mga company. Kaya nagpasya akong 

bumalik na lamang sa pagiging empleyado.

Nakita ko na ang

sa akin. Pangunahin 

sa itinuturo nila ang

ang business. 

Bukod sa physical health and material 

wealth, natulungan ako ma-develop ang 

aking interaction skills. 

Sa Health Wealth, na-realize ko na habang 

ginagawa mo ang negosyo, napu-fulfill mo 

din ang purpose mo sa buhay. 

Malaki ang paniniwala kong ginamit ng 

Panginoon ang Health Wealth bilang 

daan para matupad ang pangarap ko 

para sa pamilya ko. 

Akala ko ay madaling yumaman 

basta nasa sales. Marami palang 

pagdadaanang pagsubok. Nariyan 

ang maaarawan at mauulanan ka, 

may mga customer na magagalit kasi 

hindi ka dumating on time. May mga 

pangungutya din kahit kamag-anak mo 

pa sila. Ngunit dahil sa kagustuhan kong 

mapagbuti ang buhay naming pamilya, 

nagsumikap ako at hindi ko hinayaang 

mawalan ng pag-asa sa gitna ng mga 

paghamon. 

Naniniwala ako na ang Health Wealth 

ay isang tulay para maabot ang ating 

mga pangarap. Kaya pag na-share 

ito sa inyo, alamin agad paano gawin 

ang negosyo. Aralin ng husto ang 

produkto at huwag magpapatalo sa 

mga sitwasyong na maaring sumira sa 

iyong sigasig. Sinabi ko sa aking asawa 

na dito, sa pamamagitan ng Health 

Wealth, mapagtatapos namin ang pagaaral 

ng mga anak namin. Maaari ring 

maambunnan ng blessing ang aming 

magiging mga apo.
