Solar PV
RENEWABLES AND ENERGY SOLUTIONS
WF Senate is your leading trade supplier of solar photovoltaic systems.
We stock premium brands of all system components, and provide support
from specification right through to installation on systems of all sizes.
Solar PV Modules
We have access to a wide range of leading brand modules each with its own level of performance and price. Being completely independent and not tied to
any manufacturer we can help you choose the module that best suits your needs.
Monocrystalline modules are made from cells containing a single crystal of
silicon. Efficiencies are generally higher than polycrystalline types so they deliver
more energy in low light. For this reason they tend to be more expensive.
Available in wattages from 250W through to 315W from major brands including:
PV String and Micro Inverters
Often thought to be the brains of a solar
installation, solar inverters play a critical role
whatever the system size. Essentially they convert
DC produced by the modules into AC suitable for
both consumtion and for feeding into the grid.
Today inverters often carry out additional functions
– such as system monitoring – to ensure modules
are working at their peak. From domestic single
phase to three-phase inverters, we have ranges
from your favourite brands.
Polycrystalline modules contain cells made from many crystals – which
gives them their shattered glass look. They are easier , therefore cheaper , to
make than monocrystalline types and tend to be slightly less efficient.
Micro-inverters simplify array design and
installation since a single micro-inverter is used for
each module, typically mounted with or alongside
the module. Effectively this gives each module an
AC output.
The outputs of all micro-inverters are then
connected in parallel. No larger, central string
inverter is needed.
Although they can make your installation more
costly, micro-inverters give you more flexibility as
they enable each solar module to perform to its
maximum potential.
Mounting Systems Accessories Added Value
All roof, in, on, pitched or flat and ground mount
solutions provided. We can even float your
PV modules !
Don’t compromise on module and inverter
performance with poor quality accessories.
Our cable , connectors and switch gear range
undergo strict quality assurance testing before
being selected.
A complete range of products that will enhance
your PV system offering, such as intelligent
switches that divert excess power generated
from PV to heat your hot water, IFTTT compatible
monitors and more:
