Yes, we know it’s Hurricane
Season. That’s one of the perils of
visiting or living in Florida.
But in lieu of those destructive
blasts of wind and unrelenting
rain, let’s opt for a more pleasant
Hurricane Party.
Probably best known for its
tasty wings, sliders and tacos,
Hurricane Grill and Wings in San
Marco has a deep list of tropical
drinks to keep your mind off the
weather and where it belongs —
right here in paradise.
If the weather allows, and it
usually does, take the party outside
to the patio for a few games of
giant Jenga or corn hole.
Hate drinking alone? Call a few
friends and upgrade your selection
to a sharable bucket that you can
pass around the table.
Now all you’ll have to decide is
which cocktail sounds best.
Goombay Smash
Cruzan Coconut Rum, Blackheart Spiced
Rum, DeKuyper Apricot Brandy, orange juice

Cruzan Mango Rum, pineapple juice,
grenadine, sweet and sour mix and a Myer’s

Malibu Black Rum, cream of coconut, orange
juice and pineapple juice.
Voodoo Juice
Five flavored Cruzan rums – coconut, mango,
pineapple, banana, and light – combined with
orange juice, pineapple juice, and cranberry
juice.
Passionate Energy
Cruzan Mango Rum and Tropical Flavored
Red Bull
Coco Rita
Patrol Silver Tequila, Grand Marnier, cream of
coconut, fresh squeezed orange juice with a
splash of agave nectar.
Naked Fuzzy Mule
Pinnacle Vodka, DeKuyper Peach Schnapps,
Ginger Beer, and fresh squeezed lime juice.
Coronarita
A seven-ounce Corona served in a refreshing
margarita make with Lunazul tequila, Citronge
Orange and freshly squeezed lime juice.
Tropical Hurricane
Cruzan Guava and Mango Rums, pineapple
juice, orange juice, a splash of grenadine and
a Myer’s Rum float.
