RAMCO BOATS 2016 RANGE PROOF

In 1985 a prototype aluminium boat was constructed in Hamilton, New Zealand. After rigorous testing, a decision was
made to commence production and the initial ten boats were completed and offered for sale. The immediate success of
this boat, the 14'6" Seeker, was the start of a remarkable entry into the marine industry by RAMCO Boats, the boat
manufacturing company with the distinguished ram's head ensignia. The company's logo infers strength and all round
toughness, qualities bred into each of the production models available today.
At the time of the first 'RAM CO', existing aluminium marine craft were limited in their suitability for the extreme
conditions encountered around the vast coastline of New Zealand. The initial production run of the 'Seeker' soon
changed boating attitudes through superior performance and handling. Now, many thousands of boats later and with
an export clientele in many countries, RAMCO Boats is firmly established as one of the largest boat manufacturers in New
Zealand; specialising in production aluminium craft from the 4750 Prelude to the 8450 Ultimate. A Special Projects
division manufactures custom designed craft and has many products completed including barges, catamarans and
monohulls, up to 13m in length. A full consultancy service is offered to prospective purchasers where each client can
establish their individual requirements and specifications.
A full range of accessories and auxiliary equipment allows any RAMCO boat to be fitted out during construction through
to turn key status if required.
One of RAMCO's many strengths is the amount of research and development undertaken. Constantly seeking
Improvements to style and materials, has led to major Innovations In design. These changes have been market driven
by a fishing philosophy and the desire to present uncluttered practical craft, yet retaining aesthetically pleasing lines.
An example of the development has been the new RAMCO Flshmaster 6250, setting new standards In New Zealand and
overseas, with export clients remarking on the amazing success of this boat.
