Hours of Staff Availability<br />
The administrative offices for the College of Education, including<br />
the Doctoral Support Center for Writing & Research Excellence, are<br />
open and operational from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday<br />
through Friday and are normally closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and<br />
annually established university holidays.<br />
Other than during these brief periods at the end of each semester,<br />
the <strong>DSC</strong> staff members are available for student consultations and<br />
to review drafts during all regularly scheduled workdays.<br />
Appointments may be scheduled outside of normal working hours<br />
upon request.<br />
However, the <strong>DSC</strong> staff will reserve two days at the end of each<br />
semester period for departmental planning, during which time the<br />
normal review of student work will be suspended. These days will<br />
be announced via email to doctoral students, and announcements<br />
will be posted on Blackboard.<br />
