Zouheir Jamoussi at Tunis University, author of several books on mainly 18 th<br />
century English literature and history, has updated and revised his 1971 doctoral<br />
thesis called Theodore <strong>Powys</strong>’s Gods and Demons. The book will be published by<br />
Cambridge Scholars later this year.<br />
A dissertation by John T. Connor for the University of Pennsylvania, 2010, called<br />
Mid Century romance: modernist after-lives of the historical novel, includes a<br />
discussion of JCP’s history novels and is catalogued on the internet at http://<br />
repository.upenn.edu/edissertations/185/<br />
Jacqueline’s French translation of Suspended Judgements by JCP, Jugements<br />
réservés, with notes by Jacqueline and an introduction by Marcella Henderson-Peal<br />
will be available at this year’s conference (CT).<br />

Paul Weston has recently published Glastonbury Psychogeography (Avalon Aeon<br />
Publications, 2016) in which he discusses A Glastonbury Romance. Paul has also<br />
added to his website the film of his talk about ‘A Glastonbury Romance, A Personal<br />
Approach to A Glastonbury Romance’, which he delivered at our conference, ‘Grail<br />
Visions’, in Street in 2010.<br />
A bibliography of Iain Sinclair’s works, compiled by Jeff Johnson in the USA,<br />
will include references to articles about JCP written by Sinclair and published in past<br />
issues of the <strong>Powys</strong> <strong>Society</strong> <strong>Newsletter</strong>.<br />
Colin Blundell, poet, publisher, instructor in life-coaching and time management<br />
courses, and friend of Patricia Dawson, has published a blog in which he discusses<br />

The National Library of Wales has acquired from a private dealer the collection<br />
of letters from JCP to Dinah White, the nurse who cared for JCP’s son after his<br />
motorcycle accident. The letters had previously been offered for sale at a public<br />
auction in Salisbury in 2012.<br />
NLW has also now included in their on-line catalogue of manuscript material the<br />
typescript of the deleted 6 chapters from Wolf Solent which were analysed in an<br />
article, ‘The Disfigurement of Gerda’, by Ben Jones, in the <strong>Powys</strong> Review, No2,<br />
Winter 1977. The holograph manuscript of the deleted chapters is located at Syracuse<br />
University.<br />
