Drifting away as the night awakens.
Gloomy sky the day gives. looking up the sun will
bring in a ding and a flash.
Suddenly a new day appears having more fun and
more joyful tears.
When we are done we shall rest until the day is done.
We have rested a ton but still the day is young.
Now it is time to go to bed then we can see the night
again.
The stars are out again and shining their best.
And on this night and more we shall see the
stars for ever more.
It started with two lovers
like a midsummer's night dream
happy, merry and loving their scene.
Like Romeo and Juliet
they loved each other so
but little did they know how far this would go.
5 years later and still going strong
like the twelfth night
they were married and remembered their song.
Then they had kids which the mum gave birth
the first one was a boy, and the third one a girl.
the second one however was totally hell
but remember all's well that ends well.
Now to this day the story goes on
but just remember
the story can continue as you like it.
Mom, you're a wonderful mother,
So gentle, yet so strong.
The many ways you show you care
Always make me feel I belong.
You're patient when I'm foolish;
You give guidance when I ask;
It seems you can do most anything;
You're the master of every task.
You're a dependable source of comfort;
You're my cushion when I fall.
You help in times of trouble;
You support me whenever I call.
I love you more than you know;
You have my total respect.
There was a little Girl
Who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead
When she was good she was very very good, but when she
was bad she was horrid
Now to this I have to disagree
Yes she had a curl right in the middle of her forehead
When she was good she was very very good, but never bad
or horrid
I can still see her face 40 years ago
Watching over time her starting to grow
Her first step, words and all the things she learnt to know
More than a Daughter more than a friend
Getting through days that sometimes seemed to never end

Laughing, spending shopping sprees
That when you checked your bank account brought you to
your knees
Logic in amongst madness, soft kind words in times of
sadness
Judge Jury of the best kind, and someone that also makes
time
Photo mad, every second a click but memories for us all to
share from a memory stick
Caring Mother, sorter out all things done without a shout
Now is a grown up girl who still has curls one might stray to
her forehead
To this day she is very very good, and never horrid
How I have loved my Girl with a curl in the middle of her
What do you wish for? Said the man in the moon.
I wish for a friend, said she in the dark.
A friend, said the moon, not diamonds or pearls?
For what, said the girl, to show to whom?
So what do you wish for? Said the man in the moon.
A friend, said the girl, to know me for life.
A friend, said the moon. Not to travel the lands?
No, said the girl, I see all that I need to from here.
Why do you wish for a friend? Said the moon.
Because friendship is precious and priceless and rare.
And what shall they look like and who shall they be?
They shall be elegant and witty and free;
We shall watch stars together and our children shall
dance.
Ok, said the moon, I shall grant you your wish.
And so the children dance.
Bottle cap tops,
Becoming an Auntie,
Having a family,
With this poem, I write to you
There is a lot to put, about me and you
You've been so many things to me, an aunt and a friend
We've shared secrets and stories, had fun doing it too
You've been there for me throughout the good and bad
and been my shoulder to cry when I'm feeling sad.
From drinking tea all day everyday
and staying up all night watching reality tv
Getting you to like ex on the beach
and Christophe cringing at all of it
Going shopping every Tuesday
Spending loads of money and regretting it the next day
or ripping your cardigan on the car door
and using it as an excuse to buy more
when I had no one, you opened your door
you welcomed me in and couldn't have done more

You're so lovely, special and kind
I look up to you and I'm glad you're in my life
I've always said I will never hate you
and to this day that saying is still true
You have had a difficult life which you should never have
but good things come to the ones that deserve
You have so many people who will always be by your side
and they always will be till the end of time
I love you so much
Hope this birthday is one of the best
Have a good day
It takes many special qualities to make a Auntie like you
A lot of care and kindness and understanding too
It takes a special kind of love
I still remember the first day we met
We were too shy to say much at all
It's funny to think back to that time
Because now we're having a ball!
They say that true friendship is rare
An adage that I believe to be true
Genuine friendship is something that I cherish
I am so lucky to have met you.
Our bond is extremely special
It is unique in its own way
We have something irreplaceable
I love you more and more each day.
We've been through so much together
In so little time we've shared
I will never forget all the moments
That you've shown me how much you cared.
Friends are forever
Especially the bond that you and I possess
I love your fun-filled personality
Somehow you never fail to impress.

The world could use more people like you
It would certainly be a better place
I love everything about you
You are someone I could never replace.
You are always there for me
When my spirits need a little lift
I cannot thank you enough for that
You are truly an extraordinary gift.
You are everything to me and more
I could never express that enough
Life is such a treacherous journey, and
Without you it would be even more tough.
Our story will continue to grow
With each passing day
Because I trust that with you by my side
Everything will always be Okay.
You are so dear to me
You know I will love you until the end
I will always be there for you, and
You will always (and forever) be my best friend.
When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn’t go, and doesn’t suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer
gloves
And satin sandals, and say we’ve no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people’s gardens
And learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in
boxes.
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practise a little now?
So people so who know me are not too shocked and
surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.
There was a young lassie from Welling
tis the start of a story worth telling
So this lad with any eye for said lass
stepped up and he made a clear pass
so knowing no better
she sent him a letter
and somehow he'd come top of class
While no one says life is all fun
if it kicks off with U2 and One
it's then got a good chance
to swing and to dance
maturing with time till all's done.
So hard times and tears pass behind
as life is not always a grind
give hard times no thought
look what life has brought
cos that way it's smiles that we find.
What is this life, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, likes skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
Id like another drink I think
Another drink to make me pink
I think I'll drink until I stink
I'll drink until I cannot blink
Perhaps I’ll have a shot of rye
The rye I spy with my own eye
Some rye to make me fly so high
I think that I can touch the sky
Or maybe I will have some rum
Its not so dumb to want some rum
I’ll drink and fall upon my bum
Or maybe contemplate my thumb
Some vodka would be very nice
Or wine, or maybe scotch on ice
Perhaps Kahlua would entice
I’ll drink it once, I’ll drink it twice

Perhaps some gin to make me grin
It's not a sin to want some gin
A 26 will make me spin
And then I will begin again
I want some beer to make me cheer
Hurray! Hurrah! A cheer for beer!
I will not stick it in my ear
Hurrah! Hurray! I’m here for beer
I’ll drink with my friends Jack and Ron
I’ll drink until my livers gone
I’ll invite Sam and Bud and you
And Captain Morgan can come, too
I’m loaded now, I have to go
My brain is working very slow
There’s just one thing I need to know:
Where is the can? I have to go!
All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation

Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
