THE MYSTERIOUS CASTLE
by David
Secretively, Jeff crept out of his front door. It opened with a creek. He
paused. All he could hear was the silence that filled the house with sleep.
Eventually, Jeff arrived at the castle. The lake glistened in the sunlight as
bees buzzed passed. Phenomenal flowers filled the inside from every
imaginable colour. A red and gold carpet narrowed down to a colossal golden
chair. Ten minutes later, Jeff entered the king size bedroom and laid down in
the jumbo bed.
With a jolt, he awoke. Not a sound could be heard. Silence. Cobwebs
covered the ceiling anxiously Jeff looked out of the window. The oily surface of
the pond stood out in the darkness of the full moon. A muffled cry could be
heard in the distance as Jeff cautiously crept out of the room. Something
brushed past his neck. Nervously, he turned around. No one was there. Spots
of moonlight filtered through the broken glass. Violently, a bat flew past. Jeff
fell back. He quickly got up and ran downstairs.
All the petals had fallen off the flowers and the red carpet had muddy
footprints. A dark silhouette with dark red eyes glared at him…
Frightened, Jeff bolted out of the castle door. The howls stopped and
the sun blazed down at him. The river shone in the sunlight once again as the
birds sang a breath-taking song. It was like the castle swallowed the secret.

CREEPY CITY
by Anakchan
Joe crept down stairs, dodging the creaky step. He tip toed to the door.
The floor board creaked.
Two hours later, Joe arrived at the city. The sweet aroma of flowers
lingered in the air. The tall houses towered over each other. Joe wondered
what a nice place for the moment. The people were suspiciously kind. After he
had a glimpse of the city, he got tired and went to sleep, dreaming of crystal
tower and goblins.
In a flash, he woke with a shock. It was pitch dark and wolves howled. He
listened carefully and heard breathing. The sun had disappeared behind the
sky scrapers. Dead mice covered the floor. The flowers shrivelled. The lights
mysteriously turned off. He heard a chuckle and saw a knife on the floor. A
light turned on and something brushed by his neck. He thought something was
behind him but it was the wind. An eye flickered.
In a second, he left in a flash. He had a quick glimpse behind him. The
eye was gaining on him. He heard a growl getting louder. He saw it come
closer.
Running like wind, Joe ran for his life. There was no exit. People were
blocking the exit. He had an idea. He jumped over a fence and ran until he had
no breath. Eventually, he was safe.

SLENDERMAN IN THE
FOREST
by Kajus
Slowly, Jeff crept down the stairs dodging the tenth creaky step to exit.
He entered Claw Tooth Mountain and could see his home from the view.
The mountains were a beautiful place to be in. All the snow was fun and
it was deep enough to make a crunchy step. Later on Jeff went to sleep.
In a flash Jeff awakened. There was almost no light and all he saw was
tall mountains towering over him one by one. A ring in the ear meant that not
a sound could be heard. Soon he found the forest that led back home but it
seemed to go on forever.
Just then, a set of green eyes appeared in the darkness. Something
blitzed past him. Now, he was running for his life and then he caught a glimpse
of the mythical creature known as Slenderman and he stretched his arm and
almost grabbed Jeff but he just missed.
At that moment, Jeff realised he was no longer in the forest but had
finally escaped and was safe.

HORRIBLE ZOMBIES
by Seraj
As I jumped through the window to the garden, I raced to the town,
across people and town streets. I felt tired but I came to this beautiful place.
I front of me, a peaceful waterfall shimmered. Tall trees swayed and the
red flowers smelled like sweets. Finally, I sat down and I fell asleep.
With a jolt, I woke up. Everything was darkness. There were no people.
Maybe something happened. My heart stopped.
The waterfall was dark and grey. First there were fishes but no more and
they were killed. It was shiny but now no. What happened over here?
I felt something on my neck. I looked back. Nothing was there. But
someone said ‘shhhh’. Silence. My heard beated fast and fast and he said
‘Don’t breathe’. There was blood everywhere. People were screaming and I
didn’t know what is going to happen.
Footsteps were coming closer. Almost a zombie was going to get me. I
ran for all my life to save myself from the town.
Finally, I was at home. I ran upstairs, I jumped in the bed. Now that I am
not doing again and it was a horrible day. Try your hardest to escape and save
your life!

JOHN AND THE MYSTERIOUS
CASTLE
by Delaxan
As John cautiously tip-toed down the stairs, he couldn’t wait for the
adventure that will await him. John glimpsed at a window and he saw the
translucent window climbed through the window
He saw an old school castle made out of solid rock and the door was
open. He took a quick peek through the door but the urge grew even more so
he went inside. Red velvet carpet covered the entire floor and there was
shining armour that nearly made him blind. John explored the castle even
more and it was the best castle ever. Then he felt snoozy and he slept. John
dreamed of knights and swords.
With a start, John woke up. The darkness filled the entire castle. Lofty,
huge silhouettes of rusty ancient armour carpeted the brown and squalid
carpet. As silence awoke, John wandered around the castle. John followed the
carpet and then it stopped.
He looked back and two huge blue eyes shone so brightly. As he tried to
escape the castle, he felt something brush against his neck. He didn’t turn
round. He kept on running.
Eventually, he could see some lights in the distance. As he got closer, he
could tell that they said ‘KFC’. He breathed a sigh of relief. He will never go
back to the castle again.

THE UNKNOWN
by Noah
As Jamie crept down the stairs, he was recounting the creaky steps. Next
Jamie ran down the road and across the river.
Eventually, he got to the palaces. It was pure blue like a perfect sky .The
flower bed had beautiful roses. Jamie strolled up the stairs and a smell
mysteriously wafted in the air. Just then, Jamie fell asleep.
All of a sudden, the lamps turned off one by one. The horror began. The
flowers were wilted and mourning. On the shelf, something appeared that was
most certainly not there before. It was a doll.
A moment later, scary music started playing and the doll fell off the
shelf. Jamie heard the phone ring. He picked it up and lightning struck. The wall
wrote with blood “who dares come in”. A voice muttered slowly “who dares
come in”. Jamie shuddered and threw himself out the door like a bullet.
It was like a door to freedom. He dashed and finally, he got home. Still
dodging the steps, he frantically jumped into bed. “I’m never going there
again.” And he never did.

THE UNKNOWN CASTLE
by Imane
As Jody sprinted down the stairs she leaped over the fifth one as she
knew it creaked. While she stuffed her face with cereal, she struggled to put
her shoes on. As she sneaked carefully out into the drive, a blind was being
pulled open and Jody scurried out to the castle but little did she know it was
haunted…
Rather than checking it was safe, Jody ran into the castle without a care.
As she entered the castle, light hit her face, music louder than lightning, shook
the ground. Entertainment was organised by magicians, actors, acrobats and
the trapezium. The food wafted strongly and immensely and tasted even
better. The servants saw that Jody was tired and took her to her bed for a good
long nap
With a jolt she awoke. There was not a sound to be heard. Silence. As
she got up, Jody freezed .A muffled cry could be heard in the distance. A
picture fell and as it smashed it mixed with evil cackles .Jody gasped. Who was
it? A faint light shone in the darkness but what was in the light seemed like a
man. She inched closer. The moons light shone in the glowing sky. Suddenly
she realized the man was a suit of armour and she huffed a sigh of relief.
Continually, muffled cries could be heard in the distance. Jody had to
take a closer look. But as she entered the room she screamed, “good grief” and
ran for her life. She zoomed home, barricaded the door and slipped under the
bed. She felt like she would never go to sleep again.
And from this day on people called it the unknown castle because
nobody knows who the beast is…

THE UNPLEASANT FOREST
by Zaynab
As Cloe tip-toed down the creaky old stairs to leave the house she found
a forest …
Cloe dashed to the unpleasant forest. She hurried and hurried. When
she arrived, she sat down and fell fast asleep, dreaming about a unicorn and a
girl that looks exactly like her.
With a jolt, she awoke in a shock. She had noticed it was dark. The sun
was down and the moon arrived. The owls hooted and Cloe shivered in fear.
Cloe started to run.
Slowly, Cloe saw a red eye blink…she panicked and ran as fast as she
could. She ran out of breath and tripped. Suddenly something brushed past he
neck she shivered nervously
Shocked and scared she was stuck in a gloomy old and dull forest she felt
more scared than ever. The swoosh happened again she was petrified and
horrible she was in fear. A twig broke. She felt like there was some one stalking
her. She felt she had to go home but there was no path.
She paced quickly out of the gloomy old forest she found herself safe at
last. She ran home.

THE KILLER DOLL
by Genny
Just as the sun rose, Lilli set off for the forest of the living doll. She had
heard all of the stories of the doll that was abandoned there many years ago
but she didn’t care; she had never believed them. Soundlessly, she crept down
the stairs, careful not to disturb Rocket, the jet-black cat.
After what felt like a lifetime of sneaking down narrow, empty roads
with Rocket in her arms, she reached the forest. The soft ground was crisscrossed
with thin strips of light. The pond sparkled like millions of shards of
glass. Exhausted, Lilli settled down with her back against a tree and she closed
her eyes as she fell asleep.
Hours later, she woke with a jolt to find herself in the same forest, yet
it was filled with long, ghostly shadows. Rocket sat beside her, whimpering
with fear. Leaves rustled at the foot of a tree. There was something there. A
mouse darted out from beneath the leaves. It was just a mouse it couldn’t hurt
her. But she knew there was something there. She just knew it.
Something was missing. The pond was gone. But how can a whole
pond just disappear? Then she looked closer. It was still there, just blanketed in
shadow.
Cautiously, she stood up. A twig cracked. Red eyes blinked at her from
somewhere deeper into the tangle of trees. They belonged to a strangely small
figure. It advanced towards her. It was a doll. The living doll. It held a
bloodstained axe. Terrified, she grabbed Rocket and ran for her life. She risked
a glance over her shoulder and saw that the doll had gained on her.
Immediately, she set off again, even faster than before. The axe thudded into a
tree, barely missing her arm as she dashed on, desperate to leave the forest.
All of a sudden, she caught a glimpse of buildings on the horizon. The
closer she got, the further away it seemed. Finally, she stumbled through the
gate, down the narrow alleys and into her home. She ran up the stairs, into her
room and threw herself onto her bed. She breathed a sigh of relief, glad to be
safe at home. She definitely wasn’t doing that again!

by Imen
After Matilda packed her suitcase she sets off for a vacation, but little
did she know that there were secrets lurking in her dream day.
As soon as Tilly arrives at the forest she is over the moon. The pond
glistens like crystals in a mine, and dragonflies zip their wings as fast as
lightning. Flowers bloom proudly presenting their stunning bright colours
swaying in the gentle breeze. Dreamily, she dozed off while crickets chirped
noisily.
Eventually, she woke up but everything had changed. The moon
shimmered like gold as owls san their night melody. Suddenly something
moved. Something big. Tilly turned her head slowly. There, behind her were
two fire red eyes. Without a second thought, she darted frantically, running for
her life.

by Jakub
Secretively, Tom tip toed out of his house not to anger his parents by
awaking his parents. Impatiently Tom made it out of his house and made to
dead mew forest.
It was a delightful place with beautiful birds tweeting and hefty
elephants then Tom felt drowsy and started to snooze.
Hastily, Tom jolted awake . daylight faded away to nothing. Colossal
outlines of humongous trees blanketed the forest. Not even a peep could be
heard. In front of Tom was a silhouette shaped like an axe. But it was just a
rusty sculpture. The wind mill was illuminated with pointless and empty joy.
Moments later, something brushed past Tom. Shivers ran down his
spine. He rushed through the forest but the he heard a giggle which gave him
goosebumps. He still ran until he saw a shadow of a beast. It came closer and
closer until you could hear it. Sweat started to trickle down Tom’s face.
Tom couldn’t take anymore and he pasted out of the forest. Tom made
it to his house in silence and he felt like everything was a secret.

THE FOREST OF THE
UNKNOWN
by Aimran
As she nervously stumbled, she slowly looked around her room for an
escape plan. Then she looked at the window. She knew what she had to do.
Before she knew it, she was there, at the rainforest. She left her canoe
and explored. Tall trees with dangling vines shone. The waterfall shimmered in
the reflection of the powerful sun. The smell of the flower lingered in the air,
making her feeling sleepy and her eyes closed.
With a jolt, she awoke. Noticing everything was dark, she heard a hisss.
As she moved back, monkeys were trying to get her. She fell on her back.
Quickly, she got back up and ran for her life. She never looked back. Vines
broke. Pieces of glass made her bleed. Just at the moment she stopped, she
looked back and no one was there. She went to an old cave and went inside.
There was a red-eyed wolf lying down, getting ready to pounce.
Luckily, something suddenly saved her and took her to another day.

THE DAY OF THE CIRCUS
by Shajan
When Fred unlocked the creaky ancient door, he set off for a journey to
the circus. Clearly everyone knew the only way to go to the circus is by train.
However, there is only one train that could take Fred, its stops at man dead
train station.
As Fred arrived at the train station, he saw trains drifting like it was ice
skating. Elegant music filled the air. Ecstatically Fred danced to the beat of the
music. Suddenly Fred dozed off.
A few hours later, Fred woke up. He saw graves scattered around the
train station. There were signs creaking against the wind. Narrow silhouettes of
trains blanketed the lane. Not a breath could be heard. As he gradually turned
around, two specks of light glared at him he took a risk to take a few steps but
everything was lifeless. Silence.
The next thing Fred knew something brushed past his neck. He still
thought that no-one was there. Suddenly, a figure crept out of a shadow. It
was a doll with a blood stained axe.
Fred started running while he was darting down the lane. He turned
around and saw that the doll had gained on him. Ahead Fred saw a light
leading to the surface. He ran closer and closer towards the light until he finally
made it there. Fred knew he’d never go to the circus again.

DEAD ANGELS FOREST
by Elliott
Carefully, Jeff climbed out of his window into his front garden. He
stopped. The neighbours dog started to chase him, luckily they were chained
up. Jeff excitedly darted towards Dead angels forest…
A few hours later, he arrived at the forest. The sky-kissed trees towered
over the forest like shields. The glimmering lake shone brighter than the sun.
Sweet flowers filled the air with greatness. The aroma of flowers put Jeff to
sleep.
Jeff woke up with a jolt. The horizon descended behind the trees.
Something touched her. There was a handprint on his back…

THE TRIP TO THE CIRCUS
by Maja
Slowly, Jess crept out of her ancient house to get in the car. Jess who was clever,
knew if it was her birthday her parents would take her by car any-were she wanted at any
time. Before her birthday, she searched up the Artistic Circus and she decided to go there.
As Jess arrived in front of the circus her jaw drops! Intricate patterns filled every
corner the tent like place. Soon she spots the perfect present for her. A live time supply of
toffy pop-corn and 70cm magic trick boxes. To Jess the place felt like heaven. Not glad at all,
Jess read a sign on the wall that said that the show will start in 2hours so Jess decided to
take dreamy nap.
After two hours Jess woke up. Her parents sat beside her hugging her tightly.
Suddenly, a glimpse of light started to shake and crack. Her heart thudded. All at once, the
light broke dim. Where had everyone gone? The light turned on. Nobody. Her parents were
not there. Jess screamed her head of. Un-identified shadows grew taller and taller until they
grew bigger than sky scrapers. The circus seemed to be abandoned but, all at once, a
horrifying screech happened. Then, silence. Only silence. Her heart thudded. Out of
nowhere, she caught a glimpse of blood red eyes. Jess wasn’t sure if it was really there but
she had a thought that it might be real.
After that, the sound of razor claws echoed swiftly around the pitch black circus.
Finally, Jess turned around and dashed towards the creaky stairs. She knew something was
tip-toeing behind her. She wasn’t the only one in the circus.
Choosing the right decision, Jess turned around quickly and sprinted down the stairs.
She knew someone was glaring at her but she did not stop running. Bloody knives flew
across Jesses fingers, but luckily she managed to dodge them. At the bottom she paused.
Four doors were placed ahead of her. Her heart stopped. She knew that if she chose the
wrong door, she would stay here forever. All at once, she realised that something was
charging towards her. She didn’t have a lot of time. Hurrying, she closed her eye and
grabbed the nearest handle…
Right in that moment she opened the door, she found herself on her street. There
was no sign of the existence of the circus. She was safe at last.
