Our quality of life in later years becomes increasingly<br />

dependent on our health and physical condition. Fitness<br />

is often associated with the young, but as average life<br />

expectancies increase it is becoming more important<br />

for older adults to monitor and manage their health and<br />

fitness. Join us In the Poppintree Community centre for a<br />

free older person’s fitness testing which are provided as<br />

part of Dublin City Council’s Age Friendly programme.<br />

Historical Walking Tour<br />

Starts at 2pm sharp<br />

Kilmainham Area & National War Memorial Gardens<br />

This Historical Walking Tour is led by acclaimed Dublin<br />

historian Pat Liddy is part of Dublin City Council’s<br />

on-going Let’s Walk & Talk programme.<br />

The Lets Walk & Talk programme is a fun programme of<br />

city walking activities suitable for all ages. The programme<br />

includes regular historical walks as well as social walking<br />

Groups. Walks take place throughout the year from<br />

February to October and are particularly popular with<br />

retired and older walkers.<br />
