Who are we?
Leeds RAG is the official fundraising
body of Leeds University Union.
We are a student-led society which
works to facilitate fundraising for
a variety of local, national, and
international causes, whilst providing
students with exciting experiences
to help them love their time at Leeds!
We offer fundraising experiences, as
well as the opportunity to develop
vocational skills through leadership
and the organisation of events.
To serve our members, we aim to
work with responsible partners and
run our activities ‘in-house’ wherever
possible. Our group actively pursues
collaboration with other societies in
LUU, and seeks to develop new and
inclusive fundraising opportunities
for everyone, whilst maintaining
transparency and honesty in all we
do.
local area who are unable to rely on regular donations.
RAG week is the society’s opportunity to showcase all
we are doing for the local community as well the national
lots going on across the union with events and activities.
Come get involved!

Halls & Societies
The Halls and Societies Coordinator introduces
and implements RAG into Leeds University
Halls of Residence and supports collaborations
with other Leeds University Union societies.
RAG Charity Reps
RAG work with the Charity Reps on the Halls Exec,
assisting them with ideas and fundraising events that they
organise throughout the year. This includes doughnut
and bake sales, raffles, Christmas markets, charity club
nights and more! Any halls can compete to see who
raises the most, so it’s a charitable battle between halls!
Society Collaborations
There are also loads of ways for societies to get involved
with fundraising! We have collaborated with all kinds
of societies ranging from Irish Dance Society, Hockey
and Islamic society to Shock Soc, Skydive and Baking,
proving that any society can incorporate fundraising into
their events! Last year we also continued the Doggy Destress
Room, a collaboration with the Guide Dog society,
which proved extremely successful and even won a Riley!
Get in touch...
If you or your society are interested in fundraising, get in
touch with Georgia, the Halls & Societies coordinator, to
find out more!
