1956<br />
First official Jaymar logo; George Reinitz launches Jaymar<br />
comp<strong>an</strong>y in Montreal in 1956.<br />
Jaymar furniture arrives in our living rooms. They are well<br />
designed with storage compartments <strong>an</strong>d quality craftsm<strong>an</strong>ship<br />
that is made to last.<br />
1965<br />
Jaymar is recognized for their quality <strong>an</strong>d well-designed<br />
furniture. The colorful prints, skirts <strong>an</strong>d piping gave a chic<br />
look to the furniture.<br />
1970-75<br />
In the 70’s, floral <strong>an</strong>d tropical prints were in style <strong>an</strong>d the<br />
decorative wood inserts gave a luxurious allure to the<br />
massive piece of furniture.<br />
1980<br />
The presence of multiple cushions makes their appear<strong>an</strong>ce.<br />
We decorate the furniture with fringes <strong>an</strong>d trendy<br />
pastel colours that are the highlight of the living room.<br />
1985<br />
The mid-80’s, floral fabrics, fringes, Queen Ann chairs <strong>an</strong>d<br />
recliners are very present. A time where we liked texture,<br />
detail <strong>an</strong>d motifs; a very busy decor.<br />
