DIGITAL BANKING MANIFESTO: THE END OF BANKS?
II. Key Requirements for a Digital Bank –
Customers’ Perspective
At a minimum, on the retail side, DBF should be able to do the following:
• Holistic & Customizable Experience Provide a holistic, interactive, and intuitive
overview of the customers’ money and, more broadly, their financial life, including
information on their current account and deposit balances, transactions, outstanding
loans, recurring payments, pension contributions and accumulation as well as
securities accounts. Tailor its services for different customer segments such as small
and informal merchants, mass affluent, youth market, international travelers, or lowincome
customers. Offer a trusted and relatively inexpensive source of credit for its
customers;
