3182 Old Tunnel Rd, Suite C
Lafayette, CA 94549
Having grown up in Lafayette, Dino Riggio's area and
market knowledge are an enormous benefit to his
clients. Shortly after graduating from the University of
Colorado (Business Administration/Real Estate)
he became actively involved in real estate and has
been in the industry for over 10 years. While working
as an independent broker, Dino completed John F.
Kennedy’s law program and graduated in 2011.
This legal background, as well as his current active
involvement in the community, brings a vital resource
to his clients by constantly being proactive in
identifying potential issues and addressing them
before they materialize. Specializing in unique and
mixed-use properties with complexities that require an
understanding of multiple real estate fields, his broad
background provides clients an advantage. Dino has
represented clients in transactions ranging from one
bedroom condominiums to 60 unit apartment
complexes.
Dino has remained involved at the local level with his
appointment as a City of Lafayette Commissioner.
Having served for over four years, he chaired the
Circulation Commission in 2015. The commission
routinely examines the effect on traffic of existing and
proposed developments by making recommendations
to the City Council.
Since 2010, Dino has been active in the Rotary Club of
Lafayette. Having served on the board since 2012, he
became the youngest president in recent history in
2015. Under his leadership, the club is currently
focused on providing mentorship for the Interact
students at Acalanes High school and through
fundraising events such as Concert at the Res, the
Annual Ed Stokes Golf Tournament, and the Reservoir
Run, the club continues its support of local and
international “Service Above Self.”
Most recently Dino was appointed Technology Chair
for the Diablo Regional Arts Association board of
directors. Through the DRAA at the Lesher Center in
Walnut Creek, local artists have a venue to continue to
touch the lives of the community.
A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE
Dino enjoys spending downtime with his family and
friends. Nothing brings him more joy than to have as
many people around a dinner table or fire pit as
possible and recanting the great old stories while in the
process of making many more. When he can, Dino
likes to escape to either Tahoe or Aptos and take in
the mountains or beach.
About Dino Riggio & Associates
A Sneak Peak of Walnut Creek’s Historical Timeline:
With more than 165 years of history as a community, Walnut Creek has much to
celebrate about its past and much to remember as we set a path for the future.
As of the 2014 census, the city's total estimated population is 67,673. Walnut Creek
may not be the largest city within the county, however it serves as a hub for its
neighboring cities because of its location and its accessibility by BART (Bay Area
Rapid Transit), its active downtown neighborhood features hundred-year-old buildings
and extensive high-end retail establishments, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Dino Riggio & Associates is an East
Bay owned brokerage which goal is to
serve the client’s interests throughout
the real estate process. We seek to maximize
value for our clients by working
collectively in detecting issues through
meticulous due diligence resulting in
early, cost-effective problem solving
and to give clients the best possible real
estate buying and selling experience.
Our Services:
Find Your Next Home:
You need someone who knows this
area inside and out! Our team can
work with you to find the right home
at the right price for you, including all
the neighborhood amenities that
matter - not to mention the essential
criteria you have for your ideal home.
Sell a Home:
When it's time to move, you need
someone who will advertise your
home, show to prospective buyers,
negotiate the purchase contract,
arrange financing, oversee the
inspections, handle all necessary
paperwork and supervise the
closing. We can take care of
everything you need, from start to
close.
Consult on Home Selling
Tactics:
Oftentimes buyers don't visualize
living in your home the way you do.
We can make your home attractive to
its ideal audience - which can help
you get top dollar. Things like staging
the home, making repairs or minor
improvements, or even simply
painting the walls can be the
difference between a home resting on
the market and one that's sold fast.
Property Management:
Whether you are considering a change
in management companies or simply
wish to stop managing your own
properties, we will make it an easy
transition for you. We are very
selective in choosing not just the best
tenants, but also the best owners. We
connect high-quality owners with high
-quality tenants providing an exclusive
service that maintains and most often
increases the value of the properties.

With a grant from the Carnegie Library Foundation,
Walnut Creek’s first library opens at Main and East (now
Giammona) Streets on land donated by Robert Noble
Burgess. The grant was initiated through an application
from the Women’s Improvement Club. The Carnegie
Library served the community until 1961, when a new
library opened on North Broadway. (1916)
Walnut Creek celebrates the first Walnut Parade
and Festival. Two years later, the Walnut Festival
Association incorporates and makes this annual
fundraising carnival a signature event in Walnut Creek.
(1936)
On Oct. 21, 1914, Walnut Creek incorporates as Contra
Costa County’s eighth city. The city comprised 500 acres.
A primary initiative for incorporation was the desire of
downtown businesses to pave Main Street, which was
finally accomplished in 1921. Harry Spencer is elected first
president (mayor) of the Board of Trustees. The Board was
renamed the City Council in 1929.
Contra Costa County forms the Central Fire
Protection District with Walnut Creek as its hub. The
first fire station opens on Bonanza Street. Guy Ray
Spencer, who had been the volunteer fire chief, is
appointed the first fire chief of the new district. (1926)
Boundary Oak Golf course opens on 135 acres of land
off Valley Vista Road. It is originally called the Walnut
Creek Municipal Golf Course, but later is renamed after a
large oak tree in the middle of the golf links. (1969)
Walnut Creek’s downtown traffic jams are in the past
when the new I-680/Highway 24 interchange opens.
Costing $15 million, the freeway eliminates the need for
Main Street to serve as part of the state highway system.
Two years later, the City widens Ygnacio Valley Road to
four lanes to accommodate increased traffic. (1960)
