Over 380 staff and volunteers from 25 states came together this summer to once again make
a difference in the lives of chronically and seriously ill children. Without your support, 870
campers would not have experienced the magic of Victory Junction. As a team, we donated
over 187,200 hours to one of the most deserving places on earth. As a volunteer or staff, you
chose to give a week or even a summer to Victory Junction, and we will be forever grateful.
Campers left forever changed by the impact of our programs and will carry joy, victory, and
friendships with them forever. We will never know the impact this place truly makes on these
children, however even a small piece of hope can help them during constant treatments,
doctors appointments, and daily medications.
As we move forward into 2016, we hope you will make a commitment to rejoin our camp
family by attending at least one session next spring or summer. It’s easy to get distracted by
school work, full-time jobs, and life, however your commitment is vital to the success of our
program. Victory Junction aims to serve campers who are not able to attend other camps due
to medical, dietary and physical restrictions. In order to continue this core mission, we need
even more individuals to take part in our programs.
So as we get ready for 2016, we challenge you to look at your calendar for next year and pick
a day each week to wear a Victory Junction shirt. As a staff or volunteer your stories and
memories can help influence a friend or family member to experience the magic themselves.
