Slavonian Oak Ltd. (in Croatian, “<strong>Slavonski</strong> <strong>hrast</strong> d.o.o.“) was established in October 2013.,<br />
in the town of Slatina in Slavonia, in north-eastern Croatia. The company's founders and<br />
owners reside in the UK, Germany, and Croatia.<br />
The company owns its production site and a saw mill located in the industrial zone of Slatina.<br />
The enterprise’s main activity is the production of sawn timber where we can offer fresh and<br />
from January 2017. also kiln dried material.
Quality<br />
The production programme of the company encompasses boles, elements, edged<br />
and unedged sawn planks of different sizes in ABC. Usual thicknesses are<br />
20/22/27/33/40/52/60/80/100 mm, while lengths and widths can vary depending<br />
on the customer requirements.<br />
In addition to the mentioned items and classifications, Slavonian Oak Ltd. can<br />
also produce fresh beams, rail way sleepers of up to 6m in length and elements<br />
in 27 mm thickness in pippy oak quality.
The company is FSC (SA-COC-004264) certified and<br />
complies with all applicable standards of corporate<br />
social responsibility.

Characteristics and tolerance:<br />
Allows sound knots up to 7cm<br />
unlimited on both sides of the<br />
planks. Smaller unsound knots<br />
are permitted unlimited, larger<br />
unsound knots are allowed to<br />
lower quality side allowed grown<br />

Characteristics and tolerance:<br />
ABC quality is identical to<br />
American way of grading FAS +<br />
COM 1 + COM 2 + COM 3. All<br />
classes are in one package.

Dimensions: Lenght 2,5-6m<br />
thickness 26 mm –100 mm
Characteristics and tolerance : extra quality<br />
logs. There is a possibility to come personally<br />
and choose bouls which are the most<br />
appropriate for you.
Elements<br />
Tree species: oak<br />
Dimensions: we are making elements with fixed<br />
lenght – 100mm and wider, 1m and longer,<br />
according to customers requirements.
Project<br />
2016
<strong>Slavonski</strong> <strong>hrast</strong> d.o.o. is currently in a<br />
project of building kilns. Goal is to<br />
improve production and satisfy needs<br />
of current and future customers.<br />
According to plan, project shall finish<br />
in November 2016. which means that<br />
„<strong>Slavonski</strong> <strong>hrast</strong>“ will soon be able to<br />
produce and sell dried goods.
Oak has always been respected tree, as a symbol of strength<br />
and wisdom that connects heaven and earth. In ancient<br />
times, elders, under the branches of the oak, were<br />
deliberating the fate of their people.<br />
