Race Against Hunger
The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who participated in the
Race Against Hunger food drive in June. The food drive generated a total of 6,496
We truly appreciate the businesses throughout the community that helped
make this event a such a success: American Legion; Benchmark Foam; Farm
Credit Services of America; Great Western Bank; Human Service Agency; Prairie
Crossing Assisted Living; Print 'Em Now; Terex; SD Department of Labor
and Regulation; Smith Equipment; Twin City Die Casting, Inc; Wells Fargo
Bank; and Wurth Electronics Midcom, Inc.
A special mention goes to the Human Service Agency for collecting the
most non-perishable food items – 833! – and winning the Keurig Coffee
Maker generously donated by Office Peeps.
We’d also like to extend a special thank you to KXLG and Watertown Radio
