Iakwe Parents and Families,<br />

Thank you for your continued support this school year. Teachers have completed the beginning of year Fountas and Pinnell Reading Assessments<br />

and will begin reading groups this week. At Quarter 1 Conferences on October 21, teachers will share information about your child’s reading<br />

level and their reading group. Please reach out if you have questions about your child’s specific reading level. Below you will find important<br />

updates for the upcoming weeks.<br />

Due to the date change with Manit Week and Manit Day, the updated Co-op Calendar is as follows:<br />

<strong>September</strong> 23- Teacher In-service Day, No School for Students.<br />

<strong>September</strong> 29- Manit Week Celebrations at Co-op School. There will be more information about this in future newsletters.<br />

<strong>September</strong> 30- Manit Day at the Alele Museum- School will be held at the Alele Museum. There will be more information<br />

included in future newsletters.<br />
