Balfour, daughter of Sir James Balfour of Pittendreich. He died by 1587

Learmonth, eldest daughter of Sir James Learmonth and Catherine Ramsay)
She d. 1594 (CC8/8/28).
That Patrick had an illegitimate son, James who fathered the two children
by Margaret Scott in Nydie (St Andrews Kirk Session Records)
That Patrick Learmonth was possibly the same as the one in the Scottish
Guard in France.

(ii) Margaret Learmonth married (i) Sir David Spens of Wormiston. He
