TAYLOR’S CLASSICS
A SUPPLIER, RESTORER AND MANUFACTURER
OF FINE CONTRACT QUALITY FURNITURE.
We have now settled in to our new 36,000
square foot warehouse, showrooms, factory
and offices in Stafford. It is fantastic to be
under one roof. Not only does it make life
more efficient it is also so much easier for our
customers to see all that we have to offer.
We have equipped our workshop with new
equipment allowing us to produce tables,
chairs, stools and benches from the timber
plank to the finished items of furniture. So
our wood machining, spray and French
polishing facilities together with our upholstery
department mean that we are fully in control
of quality and scheduling. Have a look at our

what goes on in the workshop.
The additional storage space has allowed us
to increase our stockholding of antique and
reclaimed furniture so if you visit us you will
discover an Aladdin’s Cave of unique and
interesting furniture and furnishings. You are
always welcome to visit us.
COMPANY HISTORY
In 1978 Martin Taylor started his antiques
company specialising in furniture from
the eighteenth century to the 1930’s. His
particular love was Victorian and Edwardian
furniture. As time went by he found that more
and more people bought his furniture for
hotels, restaurants and pubs as centrepieces
or bought sets of reclaimed chairs for dining.
Martin realised that to complement his
antique furniture he needed to be able to
supply new furniture that could be supplied in
repeatable styles and in volume so since 2008
he has brought together a unique collection
of chairs, tables, stools and benches that
represent the best in British furniture over the
past 250 years from Chippendale to Arts and
Crafts. Our new reproduction furniture has
been manufactured especially for the contract
and hospitality markets. As well as a great
product range Taylor’s Classics also has an
excellent team of craftsmen trained in the arts
of restoration and skilled in manufacturing
bespoke pieces of furniture. From veneering to
French polishing the team are able to restore
furniture that will last for many more years.
Our sales team work with customers
throughout the UK and around the world. We
work closely with interior designers to develop
a specification and with a wide variety of
customers that include owner managed pubs
and restaurant or hotel groups that want to
build a chain.
We are passionate about our furniture and we
take pride in making our customers happy.
