Vision
To be a people that live life by the Book
and display what the New Testament
teaches the church should be, whether
gathered or scattered. (Acts 2:41-47)
Mission
For God’s glory and by the power of the
Spirit, Hampton Park Baptist Church
exists to proclaim and to display to all
people everywhere the good news that
God is calling out a people for His name
from every nation, kindred, and tongue
through the redemptive work of the only
Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Life By the Book
It is a simple phrase that communicates
our desire for the authority and sufficiency
of the Bible to set the direction and
govern every aspect of our personal and
public lives. We believe that Life By the
Book has the following five characteristics
that we draw from Acts 2:41-47.

Believe - Acts 2:41
We want to have a regenerate membership
rooted in gospel truth and growing in
gospel-permeated thinking and living.
Learn - Acts 2:42a
We want to be a people that love, learn,
and live God’s Word, delighting in its unique
transforming power.

Love - Acts 2:42b-45
We want to be a people growing together
in Christlike character and conduct in order
to be serving one another in love.
Worship - Acts 2:46
We want to be a people that encourage and
engage in Christ-centered, zealous,
reverent, God-exalting, life-permeating
worship in large and small gatherings and in
public and private devotion.
Witness - Acts 2:47
We desire to be a congregation where
everyone is actively engaged in spreading
the good news to all people.

Children’s Ministry
Never too early to be taught to love God and others
The Hampton Park Baptist Church
children’s ministry exists to glorify God
in the church by providing purposeful,
Christ-centered instruction for the
formative years of a child’s life. Life by the
Book begins in the cradle and continues
throughout life. We labor to evangelize
and disciple children through biblical
instruction and prayer.
Our desire is that the children of HPBC
learn at an early age what it means to love
God and others and to continue to live
that way through life.
Our children’s ministries go from newborn
to the 6th grade.

Student Ministry
Students becoming passionate followers of Christ
The Hampton Park Student Ministry vision
is to see young adults become passionate
followers of Jesus.
Our mission is to partner with and equip
parents in the making and maturing of their
young adults into devoted disciples of Jesus
Christ by the power of the gospel and the
Spirit, and for the glory of God in the church
and among the nations.
To that end we desire to lead students to be
and to do what the New Testament reflects
that the early church was and did,
embracing Life by the Book.

Adult Ministries
Friendships that bring us closer to Jesus
The men’s and women’s ministries at
Hampton Park exist to see the adults in our
local church connected through edifying,
encouraging, and developing friendships
that push each other toward Jesus.

Another great way to connect with people
at Hampton Park Baptist Church is to join
one of our Sunday Core Classes. Core
classes are designed to cover a multitude of
topics and to help each person increase in
the knowledge of the Lord and His Word.

Growing together to become more faithful disciples of Jesus
LifeGroups meet throughout the week in our
member homes throughout our community.
We call them LifeGroups because the goal is
to develop friendships with other people in
our local church in order to live life together
with them.
The mission of LifeGroups at Hampton Park
is to grow together to become more faithful
disciples of Jesus through intentional, caring
relationships centered on God’s Word.
If you are new here, LifeGroups are a great
way to get connected. If you have been here
a long time, LifeGroups are a great way to
stay connected and involved in the lives of
other members at Hampton Park.

Power Company
Senior’s Ministry
Glorify God through all of life’s stages
The Power Company is a ministry of
Hampton Park Baptist Church designed to
encourage our senior saints to
actively embrace this latter stage of life
for the glory of God. Particularly directed
to those in our church family age 55+, this
ministry uses monthly fellowships,
service/visitation opportunities, lunches,
Bible studies and various travel occasions to
encourage their spiritual growth and
service.

Power Company

The Power Company is designed to direct
these folks to avoid the trap of retirement.
After completing years of working in a
particular career, this group of people has
the glorious freedom to reinvent, reinvest,
and renew their commitment to
celebrating life in the Lord. So many plan
well financially for retirement, but few plan
well for how they will live.
It is our intention to help them anticipate
this stage of life rather than dread it and
fully engage in endless possibilities.

Hispanic Ministry
Estudiando la Palabra de Dios en un ambiente de amor
En la misma propiedad de la Iglesia
Bautista Hampton Park, el Señor está
llevando a cabo una obra en las vidas de
personas de habla española. Hermanos
de la iglesia predican y enseñan la Palabra
de Dios con el fin de llamar a todos al
arrepentimiento para con Dios y a la fe
en nuestro Señor Jesucristo. La fe de los
creyentes es fortalecida y son animados a
dar pasos cada vez más grandes en su
andar con el Señor. El cantar de himnos
de fe y alabanza, los testimonios de los
hermanos de la obra del Señor en sus
vidas y la comunión y compañerismo
producen un ambiente familiar muy
ameno para el crecimiento espiritual.

Equipping students to fulfill God’s calling in their lives
The mission of Hampton Park Christian
School is to provide a quality education
within an environment of Biblical thinking
and passionate pursuit of Christ so that
students are equipped to fulfill God’s calling
in their lives.
In short, we intend to educate our students
to live Life by the Book. It is our vision to
see our graduates equipped by the Word of
God to live a life that engages their world
with the good news of Christ.
Hampton Park Christian School enrolls
students from K-4 through 12th grade.
