After a recent Saturday<br />
club breakfast in Maryland,<br />
I went for a little private<br />
drive on some <strong>of</strong> the back<br />
roads <strong>of</strong> Montgomery<br />
County. I managed to find<br />
the one hour <strong>of</strong> sunshine<br />
over the weekend and put<br />
it to good use and while<br />
doing so, took the opportunity<br />
to unwind from a<br />
stressful week <strong>of</strong> work,<br />
travel, and OBD II warning<br />
lights.<br />
As the traffic and hassle <strong>of</strong> the city receded in my rear<br />
view mirror, I enjoyed the wind in my hair and that great<br />
flat-six sound on some <strong>of</strong> the twisties less traveled. As the<br />
cares <strong>of</strong> the world seemed to melt away, my smile re-<br />
turned and I thought about just how lucky I was to be piloting<br />
this marvelous machine on these (mostly) empty<br />
country roads. I thought to myself: I love my <strong>Porsche</strong>.<br />
I love my <strong>Porsche</strong> because <strong>of</strong> the money it saves me.<br />
