SROI is a process for performing costbenefit<br />
analyses on a project’s triplebottom-line<br />
(economic, social and<br />
environmental value). It builds from a<br />
concept that a project can be valued<br />
from multiple perspectives. SROI<br />
analyses apply best available scientific<br />
data and analysis to measure project<br />
performance for each criterion across the<br />
triple-bottom-line. The process can be<br />
applied to comparable projects across<br />
multiple scales (from local to landscape)<br />
to highlight the best and highest value<br />
projects from a sustainable and economic<br />
perspective.<br />
