PRESS RELEASE Skyware Technologies teams up with Max Technologies for EMEA Both parties undersign cooperation contract Elmshorn, Germany and Herndon, USA/Virginia, 07th May 2014 - Skyware Technologies, a worldwide leader in satellite networking technology and solutions, and Max Technologies, Europe ś leading trading house for satellite and reception equipment, announced today the start of their promotion and marketing of Skyware products in EMEA. The unique portfolio consists of various VSAT transceivers and terminals, such as the market ś first enterprise-grade Ka-band transceiver, and flyaway terminal systems optimized for Inmarsat’s Global Xpress ® network. The cooperation agreement was signed with the intention to provide customers across the EMEA region with integrated solutions of Skyware Technologies. The cooperation covers Integrated Terminals as well as RF Electronics, with the focus on
Ka-band and Ku-band VSAT technology. The first delivery is expected end of this month. Alan Loprete, Skyware Technologies Director of Products and Programs, emphasizes the great synergies for both companies. “We wanted to beef up our activities in the EMEA market and were therefore looking for a well-connected and highly experienced partner, with well-established sales channels and a proven track record in successful marketing of complex technologies. We offer a top class service with the shortest possible response times, which will give Skyware substantial advantages on the EMEA market.” As a logical consequence Max Technologies has set-up a targeted sales team for the EMEA region, which is determined to drive the satellite broadband business expansion into the EMEA countries. Skyware Technologies’ products will be available from Max Technologies from the end of May and orders can be placed immediately. More information is expected to be released before the ANGACOM in Cologne, Germany.
