DEVLIN SHEA<br />
Devlin Shea has an MFA from the Slade School of Fine <strong>Art</strong>, London. She works<br />
with a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, and ink, in her figurative paintings,<br />
which are characterized by a monochrome color palette and explorations of tender<br />
moments. Devlin has been awarded residencies at the Academy of Visual <strong>Art</strong>s<br />
HKBU in Hong Kong and the Banff Center in Canada. Upcoming exhibitions include<br />
a solo show at Surplus Space in Wuhan, China, as well as group shows at Exeter<br />
Contemporary Open <strong>2016</strong> in Exeter, UK, and the Wuhan <strong>Art</strong> Museum, China.<br />

LAURIE SMITH<br />
Laurie Smith received his BFA from Goldsmiths, University of London in<br />
<strong>2016</strong>. His large-scale paintings evoke a sense of nostalgia through his<br />
flat and faded coloring. He creates his own style of graffiti by juxtaposing<br />
flat colors with faded markings and layering opposing geometric shapes.<br />
Laurie was awarded the Neville Burs<strong>to</strong>n Award for painting in <strong>2016</strong> and<br />
has been shortlisted for the Worshipful Painter/Stainer Award.<br />
