Philippine Veterans Museum (Lawton Avenue cor McKinley Hill) - A<br />

world-class museum that pays tribute to the fallen and heroic soldiers of<br />

World War II. It houses a gallery, library, archive and theater complex. It<br />

is open to the public Monday to Friday, 7AM–12NN and 1PM–4PM.<br />

Manila American Cemetery and Memorial (Old Lawton Drive) - This<br />

61-hectare cemetery and memorial is the final resting place for<br />

thousands of identified, unidentified and unrecovered American soldiers<br />

who have fallen from previous wars. It is open to the public daily,<br />

9AM–5PM, except December 25 and January 1.<br />

Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum (Col. Jesus Villamor Air<br />

Base, Pasay City) - A world-class facility that was built in 1974 to honor<br />

heroes and airmen of the Philippine Air Force. It is composed of these<br />

sections: Art Corner, Aircraft Park, Heritage Section, Science and<br />

Technology Section, Mini Theater and Function Room. It is open to the<br />

public Monday to Friday, 8AM–5PM, and Saturday 8AM–12NN.<br />

Venice Piazza - Built to resemble an Italian piazza. Its landmark<br />

building is a tower designed to look like the bell tower of St. Mark’s<br />

Basilico in Venice, Italy. It houses a small number of restaurants.<br />

Venice Grand Canal Mall - Following the Italian theme of McKinley<br />

Hill comes The Grand Canal Mall, which does not only offer shopping<br />

and dining experience, but also offers the chance to experience riding a<br />

gondola with a mock Rialto Bridge of Venice.<br />

Tuscany Private Estates Retail Area - Located along Upper McKinley<br />

Road, this is a row of Italian-inspired restaurants.<br />

McKinley Hill Stadium – Formerly called Emperador Stadium, this is<br />

Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetery, Bayani Road) - This<br />

103-hectare cemetery is dedicated to the remains of deceased Philippine<br />

presidents, national heroes, patriots, national artists and national<br />

scientists. Formerly known as the Republic Memorial Cemetery, it is<br />

currently the final resting place of 49,000 Filipinos.<br />
