choice. In Cedar Lodge you can play short mat bowls, croquet, 

snooker, table tennis or giant chess. If water’s your thing, take 

a dip in the pool and enjoy a Jacuzzi afterwards. We also have 

personal trainers on hand in our fitness suite who can devise a 

programme of exercises that will help you enjoy a better level

Food Glorious Food! 

With different breakfast choices every day, daily table d’hôte lunch 

specials, an à la carte evening menu, Fish and Chip Fridays and 

the hugely popular Sunday Roast Club, Prescott’s is where you’ll 

find residents, often with family and friends, enjoying high quality, 

freshly cooked food. Residents and their guests* are entitled to a 

discount on menu prices, which makes Prescott’s a great option for 

entertaining or if you simply don’t feel like cooking. If you have a 

special occasion to celebrate, talk to our chef team about booking the 

private dining room and they will design a special menu just for you. 

Prescott’s coffee shop is open all day serving hot and cold drinks, 

freshly baked cakes, snacks and light meals. You’ll often see groups of 

residents sitting chatting or reading the paper and there are always 

staff around to talk to as well. On sunny days you can choose a table 

outside overlooking the croquet lawn, which is just the place for a 

glass of wine before dinner.

The Lynwood Village Store is the place to go 

to stock up on treats and essentials. The Store 

offers award-winning cheese, honeys, jams and 

preserves together with bread, which is delivered 

fresh each day from a local bakery, butter, milk,

of amazing foodstuffs, The Village Store sells 

greetings cards, flowers and gifts. 

If you’re looking for a treat, the Village Store’s 

homemade cakes, biscuits, luxury chocolate 

and hand-cooked crisps should fit the bill. If it’s 

something more substantial you’re after, try 

award-winning sausages from the local butcher,

accessible with lifts to all floors and level 

thresholds throughout. As well as an 

environment that is perfectly suited to 

our residents, we also offer a range of 

services to support health and wellbeing. 

Lynwood 

Therapy Centre 

Lynwood is blessed with its own onsite 

Therapy Centre, including a hydrotherapy 

pool. Our physiotherapy team includes 

specialists in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and 

neurological physiotherapy, sports injuries, 

laser therapy and other electrotherapy 

modalities, aquatic therapy (also known as 

hydrotherapy) and acupuncture, helping 

to treat a broad range of conditions from 

minor injuries and strains right through to 

post-operative or stroke rehabilitation. 

As well as treating pre-existing conditions, the 

therapy team works on improving physical 

condition to help prevent injuries and falls, 

running hugely popular balance classes in the 

Therapy Centre and Aquafit classes in the 

swimming pool.

well-run. An annual insurance charge is also payable and, when you come to
