Dry ice blasting technology
Areas of application
Dry ice blasting is a state-of-the-art cleaning method
that cleans and removes coatings from industrial
machines and tools to a professional standard.
CO2 is used as a blasting medium whenever a
cleaning process is required that involves gentle
surface treatment, a residue-free blasting agent and
the avoidance of waste.

The low degree of hardness of the ice means even
sensitive tools can be cleaned without problems, usually
while they are still installed. Dry ice sublimes without
leaving any residue. This means that the only waste
produced is the coating material that is removed.

Container management
KLT logistics and cleaning
LKY GmbH specialises in container management,
offering its customers an end-to-end logistics chain
for managing reusable containers. The vital components
of this concept are not only the washing
of the containers, but also their timely collection,
intermediate storage and on-time delivery to the
customer in accordance with their particular needs.

Thanks to our CO 2 robot technology, our customers
within the tyre industry regard us as a strategic and
highly skilled partner that can deliver the added value
they are looking for.
Our robots ensure short cleaning times and meet the
toughest health and safety requirements. Noise levels
are less than 85 dB(A).
Thanks to the fl exible system design (which offers
mobile or stationary options), mould cleaning can be
carried out online or offl ine. This reduces
heating press downtimes signifi cantly.

The latest generation of mould
cleaning technology
LKY ultrasonic cleaning
The LKY 3-chamber ultrasonic cleaning system
is used for final-stage cleaning of car tyre moulds
following dry ice cleaning.
Ultrasonic cleaning aims to remove rubber residue
in general and, more specifically, from vent moulds.
Ultrasonic technology, cleaning chemicals, bath
temperature and movement are combined to achieve
outstanding cleaning results.
Benefits of ultrasonic cleaning:
• Unblocks vents so there is no need
for any additional drilling of worn

mould material (e.g. steel, aluminium,
