The interior ambi<strong>en</strong>ce of the 12m Lion’s City is characterised<<strong>br</strong> />
by fri<strong>en</strong>dly, harmonious colours. The new emerg<strong>en</strong>cy<<strong>br</strong> />
exit hatches made of safety glass flood the interior with<<strong>br</strong> />
light, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Comfort and functionality<<strong>br</strong> />

l<strong>en</strong>gth of only 10.5 metres and a reduced wheelbase of just<<strong>br</strong> />
4.40 metres, the smallest member of the family is also the<<strong>br</strong> />
most manoeuvrable. The Lion’s City M’s s<strong>en</strong>sational 18<<strong>br</strong> />
metre turning circle <strong>en</strong>sures problem-free manoeuvring<<strong>br</strong> />
through winding streets and narrow alleyways, whilst not<<strong>br</strong> />
neglecting comfort. Be it a two or three-door model, this<<strong>br</strong> />
small bus has an extremely high capacity for its size, and<<strong>br</strong> />

driver’s workplace with rev counter and optimum night lighting,<<strong>br</strong> />
and an innovative mirror system with integrated wideangle<<strong>br</strong> />

door system are featured. The b<strong>en</strong>efits<<strong>br</strong> />

Right out on the city’s busiest thoroughfare, there is one cool head<<strong>br</strong> />
amidst all the hustle and bustle: the Lion’s City G. Its <strong>en</strong>ormous pass<strong>en</strong>ger<<strong>br</strong> />
capacity is up to dealing with any rush-hour chall<strong>en</strong>ge. Up to<<strong>br</strong> />
150 pass<strong>en</strong>gers can be accommodated comfortably in the 18 metre<<strong>br</strong> />
long Lion’s City G. The Lion’s City GL is longer by 75 cm and is well<<strong>br</strong> />
up to carrying 165 pass<strong>en</strong>gers. In terms of design, comfort and technology,<<strong>br</strong> />
the articulated buses are completely in line with the <strong>MAN</strong><<strong>br</strong> />
concept. That means: quality in every detail. A turning circle shy of 24<<strong>br</strong> />
metres makes for easy handling. The extremely low pivoting joint<<strong>br</strong> />
makes the bus particularly conv<strong>en</strong>i<strong>en</strong>t. In terms of innovation, <strong>MAN</strong><<strong>br</strong> />
articulated buses are l<strong>en</strong>gths ahead of the field.<<strong>br</strong> />
A small step for the pass<strong>en</strong>gers.<<strong>br</strong> />
A big step toward more conv<strong>en</strong>i<strong>en</strong>ce. The stepless <strong>en</strong>tries are very<<strong>br</strong> />
low, so it is easy for elderly persons to board the bus. The <strong>br</strong>ight<<strong>br</strong> />
colourful interior makes the pass<strong>en</strong>ger compartm<strong>en</strong>t inviting and<<strong>br</strong> />
cheery. The ergonomic <strong>MAN</strong> City Light pass<strong>en</strong>ger seat and the ample<<strong>br</strong> />
legroom it provides mean greater pass<strong>en</strong>ger comfort. Standing<<strong>br</strong> />
pass<strong>en</strong>gers can take a firm grip of uprights and handrails. Infant buggies<<strong>br</strong> />
and wheelchairs are also conv<strong>en</strong>i<strong>en</strong>tly positioned and fold-down<<strong>br</strong> />
seats for accompanying persons are next to them. No question about<<strong>br</strong> />

Low-floor perfected.<<strong>br</strong> />
The pivoting joint with integrated b<strong>en</strong>d stop allows a very low c<strong>en</strong>tre<<strong>br</strong> />
aisle, so the low-floor configuration offers the optimum ease of<<strong>br</strong> />
access that all pass<strong>en</strong>gers can <strong>en</strong>joy. The double bellows adapter is<<strong>br</strong> />
another innovation. The inner bellows takes the place of the side<<strong>br</strong> />
slide guards. A transluc<strong>en</strong>t folding bellows for articulated buses and<<strong>br</strong> />
the new emerg<strong>en</strong>cy exit hatches made of safety glass flood the<<strong>br</strong> />
interior with light, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The floor covering<<strong>br</strong> />
is very flat and is made of a special resili<strong>en</strong>t material; it is easily<<strong>br</strong> />
replaced if damaged. Visual appearance is much improved, and the<<strong>br</strong> />
same applies to the feeling of space inside the articulated bus.<<strong>br</strong> />

The Lion’s City LE embodies a versatile bus concept that cuts a fine figure on<<strong>br</strong> />
city thoroughfares and out and about on country highways and byways. Prov<strong>en</strong><<strong>br</strong> />
quality and technology have <strong>en</strong>abled this low-<strong>en</strong>try bus to earn not only<<strong>br</strong> />
the hearts of pass<strong>en</strong>gers, but also the minds of fleet operators and transportcompany<<strong>br</strong> />
directors. This is a 12-metre bus that packs a lot of punch in terms<<strong>br</strong> />
of pass<strong>en</strong>ger comfort and price/performance ratio. This is due primarily to<<strong>br</strong> />
the fact that many compon<strong>en</strong>ts from the <strong>MAN</strong> Lion’s City family were incorporated<<strong>br</strong> />
into the design of the Lion’s City LE. Not sure whether to opt for the<<strong>br</strong> />
