The AIESEC Way
We strive to achieve Peace and Fulfilment of
Humankind’s Potential.

HOW?
We place our confidence in youth as the key to unlocking
a better future. We believe that leadership is the
fundamental solution and it can be developed in anyone.
We enable young people to develop their leadership
potential through learning from practical experiences in
challenging environments. We do this through participation
in and the creation of cross­cultural exchanges.

Brendon Shuke
Dzien dobry! Those are the first words I said every morning to
the amazing people I had the chance to meet during my Global
Volunteer experience in Poland. I had just finished high school and
I made the decision not to have the same routine summer vacation
as before. I found out about this experience AIESEC offered
and after the Interview there I was in a country I had never been
before, and not one word from their language that I knew. From the
first moment I set foot in the city of Krakow, I had people from
AIESEC supporting and helping me. I was scared about my job,
teaching English to kindergarten kids whose language I didn't
understand, but from the moment I first met the teachers and the
kids I knew it would be incredible. They became my everyday
family and “Happiness” is the only word I can find to describe my
experience with them.
Looking back to the most incredible experience of my life I understand
how much I’ve grown inside, how I can affect everyone around me and
how much more valuable life seems.
To whomever is reading this I sincerely hope I have managed to show
you what you didn't even know you were missing.

Experiences
Hello! My name is Deni, 21 y/o and I am writing from Kocaeli, Turkey.
I used to be an AIESEC member for over a year and a half and I was
very familiar with every program that this organisation offers.
After finishing bachelor I decided to take one "gap year" and do
something that I had never done before. Through AIESEC I came to
Turkey to have a paid internship in Teaching English.
Currently I work in a private kindergarten and I teach English to
children of age 3, 4 and 5. As I don't have a background in teaching, it
was the most challenging thing in the beginning to make them
understand what I say and more important to make them like me.
Passing all the difficulties of the beginning, now I feel a total different
person. I learned more about myself, my patience, my communication
and teaching skills. Also, as this is my first job, and I am experiencing it
abroad in a very serious and professional institution, I feel like I am
also learning how to be professional, serious, hard-working and
dedicated to what I do.
So get out of your comfort zone and explore a totally new world.
