Experiences<br />
Hello! My name is Deni, 21 y/o and I am writing from Kocaeli, Turkey.<br />
I used to be an AIESEC member for over a year and a half and I was very<br />
familiar with every program that this organisation offers. After<br />
finishing bachelor I decided to take one "gap year" and do something<br />
that I had never done before. Through AIESEC I came to Turkey to have<br />
a paid internship in Teaching English.<br />
Currently I work in a private kindergarten and I teach English to<br />
children of age 3, 4 and 5. As I don't have a background in teaching, it<br />
was the most challenging thing in the beginning to make them<br />
understand what I say and more important to make them like me.<br />
Passing all the difficulties of the beginning, now I feel a total different<br />
person. I learned more about myself, my patience, my communication<br />
and teaching skills. Also, as this is my first job, and I am experiencing it<br />
abroad in a very serious and professional institution, I feel like I am also<br />
learning how to be professional, serious, hard-working and dedicated<br />
to what I do.<br />
So get out of your comfort zone and explore a totally new world.<br />
You will never know how it feels unless you try it yourself!<br />
