continued success.
In friendship,
Welcome letter
Welcome!
I am so happy to see all of you here today.
This is our second annual Transgender Youth
Empowerment Workshop. It’s bigger than last
year in so many ways. We have more sessions to
choose from, more facilitators, more support
from some amazing sponsors and we’ve raised
so much more money which will enable us to do
more for you.
Please look at the ads in this program. These are all individuals,
businesses and organizations who fully support transgender
individuals. Many of our sponsors are potential employers; these are
companies who are open and affirming and welcome job applicants
from the LGBTQ community.
“The Stand with Trans mission is to provide the tools needed by
transgender youth so they will be empowered, supported and
validated as they transition to their authentic life.”
We are thrilled to offer this opportunity to you! On behalf of my
family, the Board of Directors and all those who contributed to today’s
workshop, we wish you an amazing day.
With love,
Roz Keith, President and Founder
Everyone needs to be affirmed. As unique individuals we each
have a special place in the world. As we make our journey
through life we need to be prepared for the events that occur
along the way. What better way to be prepared than to
participate in the “Stand with Trans” Youth Empowerment Workshop.
I am happy you are here! - Tonya Jo Lovett
