ABOUTFORMULASTUDENT<br />
Formula student is Europe’s most established educational motorsport competition,<br />
run by the institution of Mechanical Engineers.<br />
The competition requires a team of university students to conceive, design and<br />
build a single seat racing vehicle optimised for performance in a number of static<br />
and dynamic events performed over the competition weekend. Alongside the<br />
engineering aspects of the project, teams also develop a business strategy and<br />
portfolio to show understanding of the financial and economic aspects of the<br />
project from an industrial perspective. Both the design concept and business<br />
strategy are then presented before a panel of expert judges during the<br />
